I keep coming back to this hotel because it's got such a classic vibe.. filled with antiques, grand old colonial ambiance lobby, massive hallways with high ceilings and grand staircases. It feels like you're in an Asian version of The Shining. The staff is very friendly and helpful an the owner is very hands-on. He's always walking around checking on...

this hotel is cheap n cheerful- why people slate it is beyond me! It's great quality for what you pay-yes it's basic but it's got all u need! You get a big bed, (daily clean sheets & towels) full size fridge, dressing table with a light so you can do your makeup or use your I pad, large wardrobe, a...

I have been traveling to Chiang Mai since 1994, and have been staying at the price ever since. The staff are very friendly, and the location is good. The surrounding neighborhood is quite with lots of good inexpressive restaurants. The building is not quite as spiffy as it once was but the rooms are always clean and quite. Best part...

Ok strange one this and where to start. On arriving to the hotel we where sent to our room, which was absolutely filthy and not even made up,complained and was "upgraded" to superior. A little better but acceptable. Good location, excellent pool. However the hotel needs to inform potential clients that this is a building site. Floors 1 to 3...

This place was only ok. My boyfriend and I stayed in January 2015. On first going to the room, the air conditioning was not working, the sheets were dirty (obvious boot prints) and the shower drain was partially blocked. We went and talked to reception about this and they moved us to a different room with little fuss. The sheets...

I always stay at the Prince when in Chiang Mai and have never been let down. The last trip was no exception, great value at 450 baht per night for 13 day stay. The restaurant is closed now but free coffee/tea available in lobby. Pool side bar adjoining hotel offers food and drink and rooms for 220 baht - popular...

This hotel used to be a 4 star hotel perhaps in the past some 20 years ago. This is older than Royal Peninsula which barely passes as a 4 star hotel. So this is surely a three star hotel with a swimming pool which is also used by outsiders with some fees. Anyway, the first impression is that this hotel...

The hotel is in a good location for both the river and old city. The room was musty and below the level of the pool. Had it not have been raining and the pool ares busy, it would have been very noisy. No working restaurant or bar but both are very close as well as laundry services. Over all a...

It is not the cheapest option in chiang mai but given it has a swimming pool it's one of the cheapest (could not find any cheaper hotel with swimming pool). Rooms are big and clean. The hotel is a bit old but overall value for money is very good. We really enjoyed our stay here.
