I needed to stay one night in Chiang-Mai on my way home from Bangkok. Caught in Chiang-Mai in high season without a reservation, my preferred guesthouses were all booked, so stayed in Chiang-Mai Thai House for the first time. They had only one available room so I booked it. It cost one thousand baht, twice what I usually pay and...

Thankfully picked up at the airport after a long flight (for just 80 Baht), Udie showed us to our beautiful room and greeted us every morning "Hello Pat" [even though my wife and I were only staying for a few days. Small enough so that we could get personal attention, but big enough to have all the facilities [nice pool,...

Well - looks like people keep on going to this hotel anyway, since yes, the facilities of the hotel and the rooms are great. But the male staff (we wish to exclude the maids who go an amazing job and are very polite), are the worse we've ever met anywhere in all our travel experience. Simply disastrous manners. To a...

We stayed in this hotel during 1 week in november 2010. We= 2 couples in their sixties. It is true that on arriving they do insist that you book tours with them. But as the hotel is great value for little money (700baht per night on the top floor with airconditioning), I can understand that they don't like you going...

The location is ok: in a really quite area but near to the night market. The hotel services are excellent: rooms, breakfast, internet access. It’s clean and the staff really polite and professional.

I stayed here with 5 friends for our 6 days in Chiang Mai. The location is great, the rooms are spacious and clean. Some of the staff - Moon & Vincent - are really nice and helpful, but the manager/owner, Jis, was terrible! We did a cooking class recommended by the hotel and came home with food that we had...

It has taken me a long time to write this review because I keep changing my mind about the hotel. So I am going to be as objective as possible. The location is great! It is on a quiet soi off of Thapae road, so it is right in the middle of things. You are 2 minutes to thapai gate...

My boyfriend and I found this place while at the train station. We had no set plans in Chiang Mai and this hotel was a great find for us. We are in our 30s and spend our time out and about so we just need a place that is clean, quiet, safe and friendly. This is a great place to...

Nice Hotel and good rooms. It's Silent and clean. But there is something what attacks the quality: the 2 men from the reception! They are extreme unfriendly, never smiles, no helpfull Service. Thats Not correct and that's Not Thailand. The Girls from the Team and cleaning Service is friendly and they do a good Job. there are so many other...

I have been travelling for ten months continuously and previously have done a great deal of travelling as well, and the people at the Chiang Mai Thai House just might be the nastiest that I have ever encountered. Soon after I checked in, Udi, the owner’s brother and manager of the place, told me that they’re looking to sell the...
