this place was our home in Chiang Mai for a few days last week. All in all a good experiences. Hard to beat on price, good location and friendly staff. The owner is often around and she helped us in planning some of our trip. One top element is the nice garden, full of spices used in the cooking school....

My partner and I stayed at the eagle house for a couple of nights. We had a restful stay, the neighborhood and location was excellent. Annette, the host and her staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, and detail oriented. They arranged a trek for us and it was really great! Our room was basic but clean and very quiet. It could...

We stayed in Eagle House for one night. The room was simple but clean and with a private bathroom. Staff speaks good English, they are very friendly and helpful. They organized further travel to Pai and Ayutthaya for us. They also offer tours and day trips to various places in the area. We booked the daytrip to Chiang Rai and...

Do NOT stay here. There are better guesthouses at this price in Chiang Mai. This is NOT a bargain, look for something else where you'd get nicer treatment. The room we had was supposed to have hot water. It didn't. The aircon kept pouring water on the bed through the night. The fan made a helicopter-light noise. We had to...

3 of us stayed at the eagle house for 2 nights. The room was very basic and not all that attractive, but very cheap. I would not recommend staying on the ground floor here as we had a few visitors in the form of cockroaches one of the days and again the following morning. The showers aren't at all powerful...

The rooms here are basic but clean , the staff are extremely friendly and the hostel has a chilled out boho atmosphere . They also encourage responsible tourism with refillable bottles being offered , which is a refreshing way to spend some of your trip . However , this is not a hostel for young back packers looking for a...

My partner and I stayed at Eagle House for a week or so. The rooms were basic but they were clean along with AC and a hot shower, just what we were looking for. It is located in a quiet neighborhood just outside of the old city. The location was great for us because it was close to a small...

Nice basic room, although can be quite hot in a fan room so an AC room may be best, awesome trek to some great places and a very knowledgable guide. Tea & toast is available for a tiny fee and the staff were super friendly. Every one of them called me by name when they saw me, which I thought...

“Second floor on the balcony is quieter and one can keep the window curtains open without losing privacy. Also can hang wash on balcony. But stay clear of the room near the water tank. It makes noise and I heard from others it was annoying.”
