Off the main drag this place allows for a good sleep and access to everything. Granted it's not all brand new and full of glitz and electric gadgets but you do get what you pay for. The rooms were clean and there were some interesting design attempts. The colour scheme showed a sense of humour! Walking from the hotel to... More

Excellent value for your money in this little guest house! Travelled here with 2 other girlfriends. Staff was extremely friendly and very accomodating. Very clean, breakfast in the morning was great! Perfect location, trust me you don't want to be on the main street (very loud and dirty). Mandala House is a 5 min walk to the main trip and... More

I don't understand some people. Hello did you expect Ritz Carlton service and mattress for $22us a night? The place was clean for what it was and easy to walk to the markets and restaurants. Overall not bad and breakfast was very good.

This a well run hotel, clean, quite and within walking distance to Chiang Mai's popular attractions, Onnie the girl at the front desk is helpful and always smiling, there are two sections to this hotel, an older section which is fine, but the newer section has larger rooms and some with a view of Mt Suthep, so be sure to... Booked this hotel online and on arrival was told had to pay more as their were two of us (booked a double room). They then put us in the old building which was like living on a concrete slab with a bed. When I complained, and showed them the photos we based the booking on they moved us too the... More

I don't need a lot from a hotel/room in chiang mai, as I am never in the rooms, except to sleep; therefore, mandala house suited my purpose; however: I have stayed elsewhere for much better value! Location is nice; it's very quiet; however; it's right in the middle of busier roads/ 7 elevens; so it's an extra walk to get... More

2203-180413 IN MANDALA HOUSE Back ”at home” again. One month March 2012 and four weeks now in March-Apri 2013. Rooms in the new building with elevator are already rented, but this time I had a room on groundfloor in the “old mainhouse”. Perfect for me, no stairs. The moskitonetaircondition was perfect; air condition do not like me. As one year... More
