This was our first trip to Thailand visiting my brother. Chiang Mai was the second leg of the trip. We were very please when we arrived at the hotel. The hotel is not far from the moat which circles the centre of Chiang mai. We were there at the time of the Thai new year and the water festival when...

Ask for rooms in the main building. Soooooo much better than the outside apartments. Do not miss any of the various ammount of massages they offer. They are all excellent and very goos priced.

I stayed in the Maninarakorn Hotel for a few days in March 2011. I stayed in a suite room and was able to book this through a booking agency (via Tripadvisor) at a competitive rate. The accommodation was a spacious suite style room with bedroom area, lounge area, small kitchen area with microwave, kettle, fridge and sink. There was a...

It was walking distance to the night market and pretty much everywhere you wanted to go, if not a tuk tuk was only a couple dollars. The room was clean but there was nothing "great" about it. The staff was friendly but they did not go out of their way for you. Wifi was free in the rooms and the...

The location of the hotel is good. It is a short walk from either the night shopping or the old city center. There are also several good restaurants located a few steps from the hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and sincere. They made great recommendations for excursions and restaurants. The rooms in the main building are nicely decorated, clean...

The pictures show the hotel part, but there is also an apartment section. Make sure you know your staying at the hotel part. We booked the nice hotel, but were given the apartment section with no option to upgrade. The apartment section had no elevators. The rooms were clean, but old fashioned. The bathroom doors were low. My 2 daughters...

I stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel with a friend during our trip to Chiang Mai. Since it was part of our package tour, I don't exactly know how much the room cost, but for the price of the package, I could say that it is reasonable for the quality we got. The room was very modern and has a little sitting...

This hotel is great my only problems with it are that it was a bit further away from certain areas of he Chiang Mai where I could do shopping and the really nice restaurants. The hotel also has two sections, I'll call it the old section and the new section. The old section is where we were booked into, it...
