On a short trip to Northern Thailand my partner and I spent 5 days here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is comfortable and clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful. There are two pools -- our room was by the small pool which means it was nice and quiet -- the bigger pool best for a swim but...

We recently spent 6 nights at this hotel in Chiang Mai. We had a pool access room which was great. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bed a bit on the hard side. Breakfast wasgood with ample choices. Staff amazing. Roof top pool and bar great. Resturant really nice. There is nothing to complain about. Great walking area or catch a...

Bodhi Serene is a smaller, charming and nice boutique hotel well located in the city center of Chiang Mai. Staff is super friendly. The hotel is built in a square, and has a beautiful inner garden. The rooms are large, may be a bit outdated, but are very cosy and spacious. The bathroom has a really big bath-tub. There is...

We came during Son Kran to Bodhi Serene. Lovely hotel with large comfortable rooms. We booked a suite which came with a small stove, fridge and hot pot. We had two balconies to enjoy and a drying rack that was very handy for our wet clothes. We enjoyed the warm swimming pool and had dinner at the resturant. Good food...

We stayed a couple of nights here having looked for somewhere nice, but not too expensive in the old town. We booked a superior room with breakfast and everything was excellent. Location is great, though pretty much anywhere in the old town would work well. There are some good restaurants nearby, including the excellent Dash around the corner. The pool...

Booked this motel within the old town at Chiang Mia. Very deceptive entry from the street, but behind the wall amazing motel. Quick easy check in and taken to our rooms. We had pool access rooms facing the small pool (rooms 422 & 423). Quiet private area with only 6 rooms off this area. Pool on top level is by...

Within the old city walls this an ideal location to wander from to see everything you would want to and you're never 30 seconds from a tuk tuk if it's too hot to wander. Personally I always prefer the boutique style hotel that remains a little bit more genuinely helpful without becoming irritatingly intrusive. Comfortable rooms, large bathroom, a couple...

We bailed out of our first cheap poor choice and upgraded here to stay in the same hotel as family. Staff was friendly and service was good. A serene spot inside the square. Once through the unassuming facade is a quiet spot to relax. Breakfast was intimate and solid, a decent selection given the smaller size of the hotel (maybe...

Very nice hotel within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is a boutique hotel with a nice pool, restaurant / bar and rents bikes, has a tour desk and free wifi. They have a nice breakfast buffet in the patio downstairs

We popped in here to have our favourite Bodhi meals but were disappointed as the standard has dropped and the meals werent present as advertised in the menu. Chicken in taro basket was served without the basket !!! My meal was bland and wasnt memorable at all I didnt even bother to take any photos it was so mediocre.

The Bodhi Serene is located within the old city walls of down town Chiang Mai surrounded by many ancient temples and is a mere 20 minutes from the airport, train station as well as the bus terminal. It is also visually and architecturally stunning with exotic Lanna style influenced by Chinese designs.
