We enjoyed our one bedroom suite at the Shewe Wana Resort and Spa. It was great to come back to the resort after a long day of sightseeing. It is off of one of the main streets into the city, but once you enter the resort it feels like another world. The outdoor decks attached to the suite were clean... More

Reception and staff were very attentive and thoughtful. Thanks to all. The pools and gardens transported us into another world and the room was very good. The room just needed more spaces to put clothes, but that was all.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel and in this city. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Great service, intimate gorgeous settings and great location for walking into town. Also loved that it wasn't a huge hotel chain and we're supporting a smaller company. Would recommend to anyone who visits Chiang Mai!

We checked into the Shewe Wana Resort for one night with the intention of leaving Chiang Mai after visiting an elephant park but after one amazing day at the resort with the attentive staff and moderately priced food we decided to stay a second day. Yes you can venture into the city for some great local eats, but if it's... More

We lived there amazing 4 days. And all days I visited Spa in the hotel. It was the best massage in my life! The room was clean , but there was not good choice of tea in the room. And the bathroom requires restoration. But the staff was so helpful, so hospitality.

Shewe Wana was a quiet respite from a busy city. Set a quick 10 minute tuk-tuk ride from the old city, it was quiet, lush, and peaceful. Chiang Mai isn't geared towards tuning the world out, so it's certainly nice to have a place to do that. It was always nice to return to the hotel and breathe the fresh... More

We had such a great stay at this hotel. They picked us up at the airport without any issues with an English speaking front desk agent. She gave us an insight to the area before we got to the hotel. They were so accommodating and friendly. For the next 9 days they helped us everyday and asked if we needed... More
