Consistent with other reviews, the Shewe Wana is a very nice, comfortable, and friendly hotel. Whilst initially appears to be on a busy road, the rooms are set back in a tropical courtyard setting and are very quiet. The rooms are big, have a traditional Thai-style feeling with character floor tiles, comfortable bed and big bathroom. The staff are super...

If we ever come back to Chiang Mai, which we certainly hope to do, Shewe Wana is our first stop! Loved the beautiful gardens, the staff was very accommodating, and the food is delicious. My husband had gotten me flowers one afternoon on a walk we'd taken, on our way back to the room we'd stopped into reception to ask...

A luscious oasis near the old city in Chiang Mai. This a a small boutique hotel that provides an excellent spa and a very traditional Thai feel and setting. This is so much better than the typical hotel. Rooms are basic, but quaint. And the staff is amazing and accommodating and helpful. No need to plan your Chiang Mai trip...

The one night I stayed at Shewe Wana was enough to make me wish I booked here for my entire stay in Chiang Mai. As soon as I stepped in the lobby I knew the place was something special. Every detail was perfect, from the cozy yet elegant lobby/waiting area, my comfortable and well-appointed room with its huge bed and...

A good hotel leaves a great first impression; a great hotel is one that builds on that first impression and makes you want to come back again and again. Shewe Wana is an example of a great hotel. This was our second time staying at the resort and it was like a home away from home. The service staff are...

The staff at Shewe Wana went out of their way to be helpful during our stay. They remember what we like and don't like and proactively catered to our preferences (food, local suggestions, etc). This together with a nice and clean facilities made it a great stay in Chiang Mai.

Overall great experience. We stayed in a superior double room - a bit small without much storage for clothes etc, but lovely bed, nice en suite, umbrellas and mozzy zapper in room. Big non-annoying mosquito net around bed. Room has chairs and tables outside so you can sit out, loads of mozzys though! 2 swimming pools, both very clean. Lovely...

Located a few minutes away from Gate, this amazing resort is staffed by some of the best people in the entire world. Amazing service and attention to detail. Rooms are simple and clean, and the pool areas are beautiful. A special shot out to Pink, my one year old son's favorite person in all of Thailand. We totally recommend staying...
