Amazing little haven right in the heart of the City. Would return like a shot. Very friendly staff, amazing breakfasts and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were simply stunning and the pool and relaxation areas were fine too.

I spent two nights at Shewe Wana in Chang Mai to see the elephants. The hotel was in a convenient location for walking to the night market and the old city. The young women managing the hotel were extremely helpful and so nice. It was exactly what I wanted and at a reasonable price. The hotel is very quaint -... More

Clean, fantastic staff, excelent breakfasts. Rooms well fitted out with all one could expect. Slightly outside of the old town but the lack of traffic and partying noise gives great peace. The attached coffee shop does excellent coffees as a bonus

This is our second trip to Chiang Mai. The first time we stayed inside the old city wall and this time at Shewe Wana outside the old city. We were pleasantly surprised that we made a very good choice in staying here. The hotel is very quiet and about 10-minute walk to the best restaurant, The Riverside, where we had... More

I was shocked at this little slice of paradise right in the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai! They offer a free shuttle to the night bazaar and the Sunday market! The room was cute and comfortable with plenty of space! The pools were also fantastic, cool, clean and mostly uninhabited! I can't recommend this place enough!

The room is small and dark : you don't want to spend the day in it. No one was swimming in the two swimming pools in the middle of the trees, probably because of mosquitos. The hotel is a little too out of the center. But the breakfast is very good, and everyone very friendly. They found us a taxi... More

Didn't love. To call this a "boutique" hotel is beyond a stretch. I wouldn't rate it as harshly if the hotel didn't sell itself as a boutique resort, which is simply misleading. The bed was super hard and uncomfortable, bathroom was clean but not very nice, antique furniture in the room, which would be okay if that's what you're into... More

A great place if you don't care where that place is located. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are pretty and reasonably large. Lovely food--we had breakfast and even lunch here. And the soap provided in the shower is wonderful...we bought some. But the hotel is a long, very boring walk from the interesting parts of Chiang Mai. Actually, it's... More

My room was fantastic with a big comfy bed and all the amenities you would expect. Bathroom was lovely- thought the organic toiletries were a good touch. Both pools were well maintained, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was a real treat- from ample fresh fruit and freshly made bread to a wealth of cooked options. Staff were always helpful and polite.... Amazing stay in double suite with 3 girlfriends over NYE. Great central location to old city and night bazaar. Near some great street food with the city's signature dish khao soi. The hotel is a hidden island oasis amid the city. Fantastic spa and beautiful grounds. The walkways are so enticing with night blooming jasmine flowers. They have homemade tiger... More
