We were staying in deluxe double room with extra bed that was added for our child. Hotel is located at a good location, 5 minutes walking to the Rachadamnoen Road where Sunday market takes place. We bought Thai SIM card and used Grab for in-town transportation, which was cheap, and very convenient. Rooms looked a little bit more "tired" than on the pictures, but were very decent, and pleasant. Each day we were given free bottle of water for each of us. Our room was located on the third floor where swimming pool is. You can take beach towels in front of the swimming pool. The best asset of the hotel is nice lady that is sitting in front of the hotel and organizing tours. She helped us getting into our room early, as soon as it became available, so we got it at 10:30h instead of 14:00h, which we really appreciated after the all-night flight. We booked few nice tours at her counter including the visit to elephant camp with baby elephant, and a driver for one- day excursion. We went to Mae Rim to visit Botanic garden (go to Botanic garden early in the morning since afterwards it's crowded and you will wait for a long time to enter), Long neck Karen village (not very authentic since it's staged, but was still nice to see), and Poo poo paper park (they have guided tour which is great for kids and grown ups). We've also visited Umbrella factory in Chiang Mai as a part of our 1-day excursion, but this was really not worth it. We were very disappointed, since there was nothing much to see except the shop where you can buy Thai umbrellas. We had great feet massage in Lila Thai Massage on Rachadamnoen Road which is 5 minutes away from the hotel. Massage costs a little bit more than on the street or some other massage places near by, but the environment is much more luxurious and pleasant. We always got some small presents and the tea after the massage. Ex con ladies are working there, in an attempt to rehabilitate and start the new life. Back to hotel... Breakfast was included in our room rate. It's not something, there is a large space for improvement, but you won't stay hungry. Our room was overlooking some backyards and it was peaceful, except one evening when there were some kind of karaoke going on in the neighborhood which was rather loud, but it didn't lasted too long, and it was actually fun to listen karaoke in Thai language, and somebodies funny attempts to sing. All in all – hotel provides very decent accommodation at very good price, and we would recommend it.…
We had 5 nights at this modern, smallish hotel in the old town. Just what we had hoped it would be - comfortable, good staff and facilities. The rate included a varied buffet breakfast with things for Asian and Western tastes. There was a nice terrace area where you could have drinks or meals (again a range of Western and Asian meals). The small roof top swimming pool was good to cool off and has a small number of loungers for relaxing in sun or shade. We had one of their deluxe rooms with a lounge area giving us more space and somewhere private to relax. Some of the loungers were broken and need replacing! We arrived at the end of January - just as covid 19 was starting to impact. There were hand sanitiser and face masks available at reception.
Le Naview is the type of hotel I enjoy for vacations. It offers all the amenities to be confortable but small enough you feel the homeyness thank to a wonderful staff. The terrasse along the street is a great place for breakfast and drinks in the evening (no beers before 17:00!). The travel desk organized some very nice activities for us.
the staff was great! the place is new and clean with a great breakfast. the location is closer to the Left gate and the night market and bizarre. this is the place to get any souvenirs from Thailand! A walk around lead to a lot of great places to eat but the North Gate night food market is the best!
Stayed at this quaint hotel in April 2019. It's a newer hotel in a great location, just a short ride from the airport. Lots of little restaurants & stores in the area. Very clean and well kept. Amazing, friendly and super helpful staff who went above & beyond. Food in the restaurant was top notch as well. Hotel shuttle from/to airport was on time. While a bit cramped for space, we loved relaxing in the very deep rooftop pool to escape the mid-day heat. There was always a lounger available and plenty of clean towels. Rooms were very spacious, with everyone working and lots of amenities. Highly recommend this place and would not hesitate to stay here again.
