My wife and I both liked this hotel best of all the hotels we stayed in while touring Japan and Thailand. The best feature is the location, which provides easy access to the old city and the night market areas. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was big and comfortable with...

My husband and I were here to celebrate the western New Year's Eve. The hotel had a great buffet dinner with very tasty and authentic Thai dishes, including great soft-shelled crab, green curry and other dishes. At midnight each guest was provided a hot-air balloon lantern to light and float off into the night air. Our room was well appointed...

We booked this through TripAdvisor and liked its central location. When we arrived the staff upgraded us and were very helpful in telling us how to get to the nearest attractions. The breakfast was good, it filled us up for the morning and the spa was lovely! Not as cheap as you would find on the Thai high street but...

We had a good stay here. It's central, charming and suits Chiangmai. There's some wear and tear, i.e. Taps don't work, sinks don't drain, that need attention or else the hotel will go down the usual slippery slope from rustic to rundown. At check in the attending staff member was very distracted and aloof, which was very off putting, but...

No matter where you are coming from in the world you can't deny the quality of service. If we needed a taxi, breakfast for an early excursion or fresh towels the staff was on it. They were always very gracious and welcoming. We enjoyed NYE Gala Dinner there and their continental breakfast which were both very good. The location is...

Centrally situated hotel close to shops and restaurants. Nicely decorated rooms, however, a bit dark. Pool small, but adequate to cool off. Buffet adequate. Staff pleasant, but not overly friendly (not sure if this is due to a language barrier). On check out, was surprised that we had to pay 50 THB for a broken glass. Pleasant stay.

This hotel is very centrally located close to everything. We received a complimentary upgrade at check-in which was nice. Due to the location of the hotel we were able to walk everywhere in Chiang Mai which was nice. The pool is small, but we did take part in the daily happy hour. The rooms are spacious enough. There are 2...

The hotel is well situated, and at first glance looks good. However, it does not live up to expectations. Has fountains and water features. However they are only turned on when a guest is expected. Then switched off again. Breakfasts are very disappointing. We traveled through Thailand, and opted to spend the money and stay in nice places. This being...

De Naga is situated just on the edge of the "Old City Square area" so it's pretty. centrally located, in a "quiet" soi. Rooms are nicely furnished with teak-wood. Excellent shower room. Apart from the 2 complementary bottles of drinking water, the frig was empty so you can fill it up yourself with 7-11 stuff of your choice ... no...

My friend and I wanted to stay in this smaller hotel within the old city. We found the perfect place (thank you Agoda). This place was small, clean, beautifully quiet, friendly and close to most everything. The breakfast was good (for us piggish Americans). The happy hour pool bar was very small, but nice. The staff was super nice and...
