Great hotel. Coming back again for Club Grand Room on Club Floor. Stayed here many years ago to celebrate 10th year wedding anniversary. Service staffs are great as usual. At the time of my stay, alcoholic beverages are still banned in club lounge and snacks are served it sets. View from the room, overlooking Pattaya Bay is breathtaking. Buffet breakfast is good but I think pre-COVID was better with more choices. Location is great, you can access the public beach via hotel’s beach exit.
This was my 3rd time of staying here, I had previously stayed in June and before that I had spent Christmas there so I knew what to expect. I checked in on Monday 13th September and checked out on the 15th with my 6-year-old daughter. The room was fantastic and spacious as usual and they even gave me a room with a bath upon my request. The pool area on the 2nd floor was nice but the child's pool was very dirty, it had bugs floating around in it and my daughter didn't really appreciate it, seeing as the adult pool was very clean and fresh. So more attention needs paying on the children's pool. Staff at reception were very polite and attentive for all my needs. However, I can not say that for all staff, which is the main reason for writing this message. You see, I have lived in Thailand nearly 11 years and am married with a mixed daughter. I am used to hearing the term "farang" and I expect it in lower class establishments. But I was shocked to hear it being said in front of me by a bellboy to a reception staff. I told him I needed a keycard to access the room get the rest of my luggage to which he turned to the receptionist and started his sentence with "ฝรั่ง..." I was shocked. I wondered if I was Thai, would he address me the proper way as a "ลูกค้า"? is he just inherently prejudiced towards foreigners? Either way, I wasn't impressed, and I was quite upset but didn't complain because I just wanted to get home and didn't want him to lose face. This is why I am writing on here because this is not expected in a 5-star establishment, many foreigners know this term as derogatory and don't like to be labelled as such. It put a sour note on my day. So, they must make all staff aware of the use of Thai language around foreigners.…
My partner and I came here for a few days and we had a wonderful experience. We stayed in the suite which was nice and huge. Was definitely worth paying extra to have a spacious suite. We didn’t book the sea view which we kind of regretted so hopefully next time! 🥰 I had read a few reviews saying that the hotel is a bit old. I would disagree and say that it is more classic style! ☺️ The staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful! The breakfast was all good. I think there was less selection because of Covid so I would like to go back again when there is even more of a selection. ☺️ Finally the location of the hotel is great and only takes about 1.5 hours from Bangkok. I definitely think I’ll be coming back again! ❤️
Very nice view. Bed is comfortable sleep. Hotel is very good service from all service staff. Room promotion is attractive and would like to return again. Food is good taste and breakfast is also good.
We stayed in the club grand room. The room was old but nice. Huge bathroom.there was one inconvenient matter because there were few outlets. We can’t change our phone at bedside. The club lounge is not luxurious. It's an ocean view, but I was disappointed that the window glass was dirty. The spa is closed due to Covid 19. I had pre-booked the BBQ, but it was canceled too. But we didn't get any contact from the hotel. So We knew it that night when we went to BBQ restaurant . I was in great trouble. We went looking for a restaurant at 8 pm. It was hard to find a good restaurant in a quiet city.
