I have visited and used the facilities at Horseshoe Point on a few occasions and have been disappointed at the standard of the hotel and pool. Although it is a 'horsey paradise' the other part of the resort has been neglected and needs a major facelift. e.g. There is a lovely pool but it is in poor condition. It is...

Was here during the Columbia Trail Masters running event in January. The resort was basically empty with only a few rooms occupied out of a few hundred. The only people you see is the occasional staff walking by or the solo receptionist in the lobby, other than that it is so quiet. The guest rooms are arranged around a huge...

I was there for a horse riding competition (show jumping). I stayed in a hotel room for the 2 nights and it was decent. The showers weren't the best (it was tricky to keep the water going and not have it go all over the floor. The beds weren't the best quality either in my room (they were much better...

A very special to say at least hotel. i booked it for an event. Yes, it's at the horse show area. So be prepared... i didn't not really care about showers falling apart and hot water running after 10 minutes of opening a tub. if you into horses, get there, if you want a relaxing time, i will not see...

Understanding the remoteness of the area, one expects less and different from the usual. The hotel is actually surrounding a horse show area, being in the middle of the two wings and covered with an Alu strod and roof. Each GR is in a kind of connected building and with three floors and a narrow staircase, no lift. The rooms...

A very specialised hotel. The atrium is a huge dressage arena with the restaurant at the judges end. Inexpensive, great staff, good food and fantastic surroundings. Watch the kids having riding lessons or join in yourself. Might be unique in the world.

Although this place has quite aged since my first visit in 2007, it managed to retain its unique charm of a horse oriented facility. The warmth of the staff is still the same, but maintenance and amenities need a booster. Couldn't manage to get a kettle and the shower needs a makeover! TV set almost antique, barely a clear picture....

I made the big mistake of recomending friends to this resort . We visited them tonight, the first night of their stay (and probably the last). After checking in they visited the pool and found it in a generally dirty condition. The room they were allocated was musty and very basic. A visit to the gym found it full of...

The property spans on a rather large piece of land. As the name implies, this place has a lot of horses sheds, and also the hotel rooms surround a horse running ground. There are a lot of activities you can do, so if you come with a family, it's quite nice. The rooms and buildings are rather old, but clean....

We stayed in Horseshoe point, to improve our riding skills and have fun. The international riding school is one of the best in Asia, and have excellent horses and instructors. After to days with intensive private horseriding lessons, we had feeling that we really improved our skills and balance. I really recommend this place for people who love horses and...
