When we knew we had to have 2 nights in a hotel as part of the new Test & Go package, the hotel choice was important for us. We didn't want a room looking out at sky/sea/concrete, we wanted a "room with a view", so we chose the Rabbit Resort for the garden views it promised. We were certainly not disappointed, in fact it surpassed our expectations. Our room very spacious, good sized en suite with wet room and plenty of basic toiletries. Tea/coffee making facilities and a safe were all in the room and it had a fridge which was well stocked with bottled water. The free WiFi works really well and a nice touch was being left a mobile phone so that we could contact reception whilst isolating. The owner is a lovely lady called Deborah - she is warm, welcoming and can't do enough to help... it would seem her staff are all of the same too. This seems like a little oasis, tucked away in beautiful gardens that you simply would realise was there if you just passed by on the road. We ate Thai for dinner and it was all good. We enjoyed breakfast overlooking the seafront, portions are generous, we couldn't manage pancakes as well as our chosen dishes!! For the coffee lovers, pay extra for the "special coffee" trust me it is worth it!

Hello Nina G, Test and Go was quite an experience for everyone. Our guest and our staff. But we realized that it was so important to provide excellent service at that time. Understanding the protocol was especially amazing. Now that travel is easier, all of our hard work has paid off and appreciated by those who stayed with us. It was our pleasure to be of service to you and we are very grateful that you selected Rabbit Resort. Thank you so much Cheers Deborah

Outstanding Resort!
The Rabbit Resort is one of the finest resorts in Thailand.
The owners, staff and guests are first class.
The quaint cottage style accommodations are perfect for this Resort overlooking the ocean.
An outstanding breakfast is included with the room, and is served daily in the open-air dining room overlooking the sea.
Hula Girl, my Polar Bear White Pure Bred Labrador Retriever service dog, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and friends at the Rabbit Resort in Pattataya, Thailand.
By the way, unlike many hotels and resorts in Thailand, the Rabbits Resort welcomes and accommodates pets.
Please come and enjoy this wonderful Resort.

Good Morning Mike and your polar beach white service dog labrador Hula Girl. Yes, that's right from Hawaii. We feel fortunate to have you both stay with us for a few weeks. You are so friendly and always concerned for others. It's an unusal thing about our resort, so many people meet new friends while they are here. People that stay in touch and even meet again another holiday. The entire team at Rabbit Resort all wish you the best for your next adventure. Love from all departments and staff. Cheers always - Deb and Paisan, Mr and Mrs Rabbit

Stayed one night in November 2021 and again March 2022 as part of the Thai Covid Quarantine requirements. Excellent service from Deborah and her team, Suvarnabhumi Taxi efficiently collected us and took us first to the Hospital for a PCR test and then to the Hotel where we were greeted and taken straight to our room. Meal ordered and swiftly delivered, good night's sleep before reception advised us we had tested negative and were thus able to enjoy the included breakfast overlooking the beach. The room including TV, coffee making facilities, shower and toiletries all of the highest standard. Staff could not have been more pleasant. Wonderful experience!!

We booked 6 nights at this resort. When we got our room we where shocked. The door had a padlock from the outside and when you were in your room you could put a wooden stick in the door handle’s to block the door. A huge gap under the door made that the mosquitoes could have free entrench. When we asked for an other room we got a new room in a corner of the resort. The room was fine, had a kitchen but no crockery and cutlery. So when we bought some fruit on the market there was no knife to clean my mango! There was also a fridge for a bottle of wine but no wine glasses. When we went for breakfast there was toast but nothing to put on your toast except jam or egg. No cheese, no ham or any other toppings. On the second day the whole buffet was closed because the owner had a valentine’s lunch with her lady friends so she needed the space! When we came at night at the resort there was no security and everybody could walk on to the property. Including people that don’t belong there!!!. We went away after two nights. I thought I booked a hotel/resort with the highest rate of Jomtien. NOT!!!!!

Dear 378elss We are very sorry you were so unhappy at our traditional Thai resort. I personally spoke with you many times, always asking if there was something special you needed or could we be of help.. However, you always answered "everything was good". We care about our guests and want to be of assistance in whenever possible. The doors you mentioned are highly sought after. My husband and I traveled throughout Thailand to find them. They are very old wood, with a traditional wooden door lock. Most of our guests cherish and love these doors because they are considered a piece of Thai culture and history. Best Bunny Wishes Deborah, Mrs. Rabbit Owner

An amazing location and boutique hotel offer something for everyone.

Short version: This is a great hotel that stays true to Thai architecture while giving Western standards. It blends both worlds evenly and in return you have a great place to stay, in a great location with wonderful owners. You would be sorry if you did not stay here.

Longer version: If you would like to stay at the Hilton or Holiday Inn place which has become the most common type of hotel in the world, then this is not your place. This is a boutique hotel with excellent service with a little quirkiness. There is truly something for everyone here whether you are a couple, solo or family traveler, there are aspects for all to enjoy. The common area in the front and pool is a great place to meet and chat with people. The bar/coffee shop is small but there are lots of tables around and next to the French Bakery. The is a marijuana dispensary on the property which occurred about 8 months ago. The breakfast buffet is located along the dispensary. This is the area across from the street from the beach, so there it’s a good place to hangout and people watch.
The hotel is made up of small Thai buildings that dot the property and that is where the guest rooms are located. It’s mainly towards the quieter area and away from the street. It’s easy to walk from any location in the resort to go out to little shops and eateries. The rooms are different so if you are looking for something specific you will need to let them know. The front desk is very helpful. Deborah and her husband are great to talk to and have a lot of information since they have been running the hotel for more than 25 years.

Is it worth going? Most of the time, once I stay at a hotel I do not return because I want to try another place to compare it to. The Rabbit Resort is the exception. I would return to this hotel if/when I return to the city and would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel like they are staying in Thailand with a fusion of western standards. Chances are that the Rabbit Resort will improve and make your vacation more memorable.

Hello Tripletravel, Thank you so much for this great review. It was our pleasure to serve you during your visit to Rabbit Resort. You are right, we are a darling traditional Thai boutique village right on the famous Dongtan beach in Jomtien. It is a little quirky because it has it's own personality and energy. Each room is quite different but still exudes the Thai feeling. It's true Rabbit is the type of small resort that you can meet people if you would like at the restaurant and make friends. Or you can enjoy a quiet environment. We believe Service = Kindness and we always try to help our guests whenever possible. Thank you again and look forward to your next visit. All the best bunny wishes - Deborah, owner and our entire Rabbit Team.

I booked The Rabbit Resort Hotel as my SHA+ hotel for the "test & go" day 1 arrival scheme.
In my initial emails they were very helpful and arranged everything for me with prompt confirmation by email.
On arrival my airport transfer (arranged by Rabbit Resort) was waiting & took me directly to Pattaya Hospital where my PCR test sample was taken within 5 minutes & a further 5 minutes later we were arriving at the hotel where the very friendly staff were waiting to show me to my lodge/room.
I was presented with my day 5 antigen test kit & the staff told me if there was any problems with registering the results on day 5 they would be happy to help.
The room was great, very spacious with all the modern accessories but yet the decor was subtly designed to compliment the "jungle" theme of the resort. In particular my bed was very large & this was welcome after a 15 hour journey.
After 4 or 5 hours solid sleep I woke, took a shower and not long later (about 6:45pm) my PCR test arrived (delivered in an envelope by a friendly staff member) all was well & I was able to join friends for dinner.
I had a good night's sleep after which I came down for the buffet breakfast which was very good - with a wide selection of dishes on offer.
I was then greeted by the owners who asked me how things had been & if there was anything further they could do for me.
Upon checkout I had a huge case and hand luggage which needed to be carried to my apartment about 350M away, but the owner Deborah told me that it wasfar too hot to be pushing a heavy case around & arranged for one of the staff to drive me to my condominium.

On day 5 I did my antigen test in my apartment but could not figure out how to enter the results in the merchano app so I went back to the hotel & a very helpful member of staff by the name of Khet did everything for me.

I cannot praise the Rabbit Resort highly enough & would certainly recommend it to anyone.

On way back to Bangkok now having spent 11 nights at Rabbit.
Idyllic setting almost like living in jungle, birds and squirrels adding to atmosphere yet walk out of Rabbit and you are on beach.
The rooms are spacious and spotless. Traditionally laid out excellent big beds excellent air con and shower also have fridge and safe with free water and beach towels renewed every day with cleaning.
The pool area as you will see is gorgeous and plenty of shade which you will appreciate also plenty of comfy loungers.
Staff are really kind and helpful and we had a great stay.
You are on Dongtan beach with bars of Jomtein beach a 5 min walk and Pattaya nightlife 10 mins on bike taxi 20 mins car for 2 to 3 pounds. Great location to relax and dip in and out of Pattaya.

Good morning John, Thank you so much for this great review. Wow. We built our resort 25 years ago and have loved everyday since moving here. We lived in Bangkok for 10 years prior to moving to Rabbit. The fun part of having this resort is seeing so many people that have stayed with us before and see them return telling stories of their lives and travels since being here. It is wonderful experience and our entire staff appreciate everyone that stays here. Thank you again and lovely to have you as our cherished guest. Best wishes - Deborah Owner Rabbit Resort.

My friends and I love the Rabbit Resort! It's in a perfect location - just a few feet from the beach. The bungalows we stayed in were lovely with ancient Thai style decor. The pool was perfect - warm while still refreshing. We enjoyed eating at Chef's Company (the outdoor restaurant) and looking out at the water and the incredible sunsets. The trees and gardens block any view of the city ensuring a peaceful and natural setting. "Mrs. Rabbit" (co-owner of the resort) was friendly and charming. We will be back for sure!

Rabbit Resort in Pattaya, Thailand was the most exceptional experience we have had. There is a very professional and friendly staff that handled every detail of our stay with smiles and charm. Our room was meticulously maintained, fresh bottled water was added everyday (no need to run to a mart) which was a heaven send in the Thai heat. The food was not your typical fare, no, not too spicy, but anything on the menu from breakfast meals to dinner meals can be ordered at any time. At dinner, you can order a braised leg of lamb or an omelet, a panini sandwich or a wonderful soup - whatever excites your palate at the moment. Also, I highly suggest their fresh iced Cappuccino; the best I've had.
Also, not less importantly, Debra, the owner of Rabbit Resort, was is by far one of the best resort executives you'll ever want to meet. She is charming, always traveling around the resort, welcoming people everyday with a smile and treats all guests as if they're royalty. As examples, she always welcomed us to breakfast, always took the time to speak to us, and handled a couple of our plan changes, which to some, would have caused a major meltdown in most other resorts. She handled our travel changes like they were just petty situations, which indeed, they were not. Things like staying an additional five hours at the resort until we went to our plane, changing a tip error I made, and holding our room after we missed our flight. I'm fairly certain you won't find those kind of accommodations in a vast majority of resorts.
Lastly, the surrounding grounds of the resort make it feel like you're in a forested habitat tucked in across the street from the beach. Basically, a very cozy, friendly and guest focused resort that will make you smile and feel good.

We travelled to Thailand to stay on several Island over 3 weeks. However, on day 2 my husband was taken ill and as a result ended up in Pattaya Bangkok Hospital needing an operation.
At the last minute we booked into the Rabbit Resort in Jomtien as we were unable to travel.
It is such a wonderful peaceful environment and is so very well maintained. We cannot recommend the resort enough.
The rooms were very comfortable, spacious, extremely clean, and well equipped.
The Swimming Pools areas were peaceful and tranquil. All the garden areas around the pools were well maintained with an abundance trees and plants. The squirrels were fun to watch hopping from tree to tree.
A huge THANK YOU to Deborah and Paisan the owners who were always present. Do you ever have a full day off!! They could not have been more helpful.
All staff were helpful, friendly and very accommodating nothing was too much trouble.
The Buffet breakfast could not be faulted, a good variety of food and the restaurant on site was very helpful as we could not walk far in the evenings.
There is also a French patisserie on site which do wonderful cakes and treats.
The beach is located opposite the entrance just meters away and the staff on the beach were so helpful.
Do not miss out on the wonderful resort. We highly recommend its 5 Star plus

Hi, there isn’t a kids club! It’s a very quiet hotel, with Two separate swimming pools, Adults only & a family/ kids pool. I would say it’s a laid back/relaxing hotel, very lush. The beach is very close across the road and there is a very child friendly evening/ night market within walking distance which I would recommend for children. Also there is a water park 5 minutes up the road where the kids can have fun.
