Why? Who knows. If staying at this hotel, great property but really run down I strongly advise you go to sams bar and read the history. The history is fantastic like nothing I have ever seen and built over 100 years ago. Totally gorgeous, they totally knocked it down and built with out a doubt the most basic ugly room...

This hotel is lovely, aged but still charming. Large rooms with views over the lake or the Cathedral. Very comfortable beds. Good tubs for soaking. It is set in extensive gardens which provide a respite from the traffic and crowds. The hot water system needs fixing, it cycles from take-your-breath-away cold to scalding, no exaggeration there, be very careful. Makes...

We stayed for two nights . The hotel is located very centrally in Da lat amongst beautiful landscaped gardens surrounding an historic 1920's French Colonial building which in itself is very attractive and well presented , if this was a chateaux visit or museum it would deserve the 5 star designation , unfortunately as a hotel it certainly doesn't deserve...

The gardens surrounding this well situated hotel promise opulence from another era. The greeting at reception and the lovely views over the lake that fronts the Dalat Palace enhance that expectation. The hotel’s heritage is evident, especially in the bathroom fittings, which appear unchanged from its establishment in 1922. And that’s when the reality kicks in. Showering is an exercise...

Dalat Palace has been my favorite hotel for 7-8 years since it was Sofitel Da Lat Palace. I spend about a week each year, and I was so disappointed with the renovation of the hotel when I came just recently. Bathroom renovation was a bad idea! They installed a bathroom shower that has nothing to do with the French style...

We stayed here for 2 nights during our holiday in Da Lat. My first impression was the hotel decoration. Everything looked so different comparing with modern five-star hotels. We got a room with big window overlooking a lovely lake. This was the first hotel I stayed without air-conditioning in the room cuz the weather at night was quite cold. We...

This is an elegant hotel with beautiful views inside and out. French style décor throughout with beautiful artwork on the walls. Fresh fragrant flowers make for a great stroll through the hotel admiring the artwork. The view overlooking the lake and valley while enjoying breakfast or dinner is not to be missed. The service and food is top-notch. Be aware...

I was in Dalat few weeks ago and warmly welcomed by wonderful weather and friendly staff of Dalat Palace Hotel. The hotel is located in center of Dalat and I could walk around Xuan Huong Lake.
