My forth hotel in Hanoi in two months. Would not go back to the three previous hotels. I will stay at Hanoi sports hotel for now on. The staff are kind, helpful, and polite. Everyone including cleaning staff always greeting you with a hi and friendly smile. Rooms big, clean, all amenities you would need. WiFi worked perfect, a must...

For 10 years now we returned a couple of times to Hanoi Sports Hotel, formerly known as Sunshine 2 Hotel. We love the friendly staff (especially receptionist Ms. Moon, so helpful), the spacious rooms, the fast WiFi, the broad range of TV Channels available, the fast Laundry Service, their free maps of Hanoi, and the surroundings (night market, Bach Ma...

The front desk was asleep when I got there at 2am, so I had to wake them up. They gave me room keys to the fourth floor (I think it was five floors total). Sadly, there weren't any elevators. They gave me a room with two beds, which was great. The soap and shampoo in the shower seemed like huge...

My room was comfortable and quiet considering the hotel is in the heart of the Old Quarter. Everything you need is around you - great street food, fresh juices, coffee, travel agents, laundry services plus all the hustle and bustle of weekend night markets and some good music from Vietnamese bands busking on ethe streets. The beds were comfy, the...

Rude staff. Never come back. We informed them we would checked out at 5:30 AM because we had early flight, they said we could do anytime, but when we did, he was so rude and angry. They charged us 3% more because of using visa.

We have been here the first time 2006, then the hotel was named Sunshine 1 Hotel. The Sportshotel has big rooms for small money, the staff is very polite and helpfull, The girl at the reception, Moon (worked already here 2006) does a great job in advising good trips to tourist destinations. The service at the hotel (Laundry, wake-up calls,...

Perfect location downtown near all the party hostels and good eats. Clean rooms and lovely staff. Reasonably priced and helpful travel agency attached. Would stay again. $20 usd for big double bed and ensuite. Ma may street is awesome and there is no shortage of things to see and experience in the immediate area.

Hanoi Sport Hotel is located in Ancient Quarter. The greatest location ever I could find when I come to Hanoi. Only 7 minutes from the hotel to the Hoan Kiem lake an Water puppet theater. And the wonderful and helpful staff keep me staying and continue coming back since 2013. And I have been bringing my family and they had...
