Clean and basic hotel. Lovely family running the hotel who were extremely accomodating. Only downside was a rooster next door that keeps you up for a couple hours every morning. They changed our money over from usd to vnd for free, and gave us advice on where to eat, how much to pay for taxis etc. Very honest and lovely...

When I first arrived I was impressed at the nice look of the room for the price I paid, comfy beds, TV, fridge, hot water, balcony, staff were friendly Only grumble was the noise coming from the bathroom, it was the pipes I'm assuming, it was a short, random high pitched noise that happened throughout the day and night Other...

The best thing about this hotel was the location, which is central to everything in the old town but down a small alleyway so the traffic is no problem. We paid $26 AUD for a double room with balcony. The room was very spacious and clean, and even had a shower over the bathtub (instead of going onto the floor)....

This place is nothing fancy, but it's clean, it's in a great location in the heart of old town, and the staff are wonderful. It's run by the sweetest family. They were so helpful and kind, and when my cousin got sick and ended up bed-ridden for several days, they checked to see how she was doing every time I...

My experience at Camellia Hotel was very good. Room was clean with good price and the service they provide for tours and anything you have some trouble with was excellent. I booked open bus ticket from Camellia Hotel 6 with lots of help (she told me many places to go around Vietnam). Although I was in other city, she always...

This was my second trip to Vietnam. I stayed here one year ago during a trip with approximately 6 friends. Yes, there are certainly places in Hanoi with more amenities such as indoor/ rooftop pools, steam rooms, saunas and gyms if that is what you desire but this is my first choice for staying in Hanoi. The hotel is operated...

I don't know who writes good comments about it, but my experience was pretty bad. The hotel was dirty and unpleasant. The first day the water tube in the shower was broken and the water started spreading all around. The air conditioning was dropping some water constantly, so the rooms floor was wet. I must say that we only paid...

The biggest advantage here is the staff esp Phuong and husband Anh, who were unfailingly helpful, generous with advice and most of all, speak good English - Anh speaks French also. This is a huge asset in a country where many dont understand English. Phuong will also book tours and get rail tickets, with a total absence of hassle. Hotel...

The hotel is located on a small alley not very far from the lake in the old quarter. We found the cheapest rate ever paid in Vietnam for a great room with air con, fridge and window. Even the breakfast was included and we paid less than a rio in a hostel! The room was super clean and the bed...
