A good family in Hanoi owns and operates three hotels in the Hanoi, Hoan Kiem area: Hanoi Malo, Hanoi Prime Garden & Spa, and My Moon Hotel. The hotel ratings for these three hotels would be three stars and higher, respectively. Very convenient for travellers who have different accommodation needs I actually stayed in all three hotels over a ten day period, and I was generously upgraded even though I did not request this extra service. On a personal note, I was dealing with rental agents in Hanoi during my ten day stay at the hotels. After a few days with rental agents, I was about to leave Hanoi, but the staff at all three hotels calmed me down and did their best to keep me positive. Today, I move into a nice apartment - that was not secured by a rental agent. My Moon hotel has two apartment suites, and the hotel's travel agent is top quality. So, a big thank you to James Doan, manager (all three hotels), Rosa, travel agent (all three hotels), and Lisa ( receptionist at My Moon hotel). If you should have any problems, not matter how minor, simply contact James Doan.

We found the Hotel on Hotels.Com. My Moon will be our Hanoi hotel of choice. Spacious room, good facilities. Great location easy walks to the Old Quarter etc. Whilst we initially thought the staff were eager to have you book tours via them, we found they listened to our needs and their suggestions were spot on and at great prices. All staff are very friendly and helpful.

The owner and staff went above and beyond for me; storing my luggage, ordering me a taxi, and just generally being very friendly. Additionally, the hotel is located in a very nice a central part of Hanoi with many coffee shops near by.

At the facility, the front staff don't understand English very well, miscommunication is common. When they come to clean the bathroom, all my personal belongings were soaking wet that I had to throw away some of the personal items. The room was not soundproof, the banging of the doors from other rooms is intolerable. Breakfast choice was poor and the breakfast staff was rude to us. On the last day, we need to check out super early to the airport, the manager told us the night before that he would let us have early breakfast before leaving for the airport. My husband took his insulin that morning thinking we would have food. But as we approached the breakfast table, the staff was very rude to us as the breakfast hour is not yet started. We need to leave without having anything to eat and I need to rush to find something for my husband to prevent a hypoglycemic episode. However, the staff kindly assisted me with the tour reservation prior to my stay.

Location is good it is walking distance to everything. Room was clean, food was great with lots of choices, staff were great in accommodating us and our concerns especially Mr. Bob. We booked all our tour from them and they did not fail us. Everything from the first day to the last day were taken cared of especially our Sapa trip, we thought when we arrive in Sapa we have to do everything on our own but no, someone picked us up in the bus station brought us to hotel had buffet breakfast, after the trekking they provide a room for shower, they offered dinner with good choices of food and the staff in hotel accompanied us to bus station. Everything was great! Thanks Bob! From: R
