We have seen a couple of hotels in Hanoi. This one is noisy. The staff is helpful, location nice, It looks good and clean but the experience with all sounds is not what it looks like. We were on the 10th floor. The walls are thin, therefore the television of the neighbors is good to hear. The hallway has no...

This was my first visit here as my first choice had messed up the reservation and was sold out Rooms are good but a little cramped and some have no window. Great service particularly Thao at breakfast. Our stay was comfortable, good value and we enjoyed the location in the old quarter, the lake and many sites like the cathedral and around the corner from the Kangaroo Cafe where you can book tours. The bed was very comfortable and we could use the pool next door. Thao and THu, our chef...

There's walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake. Staff are very helpful and nice, even you walk to the hotel at 3am (it's very common at small hotels in Vietnam, but I think this hotel has welcomed thousands of westerners and we can expect the service is good to excellent there. There are a few things that need to improve: key...

I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Excellent location about 2 minutes walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. The rooms are gorgeous and comparable to 4/5 star hotels in Australia where I would be paying 3/4 times what I paid here. The decor is lovely Vietnamese wood in antique style and they even have beautiful replica antiques on display. My room...

My friend and i moved here from their sister hotel - the Golden Lotus Luxury Hotel - a few doors up. We were flying out that night, and couldn't get a late checkout at the first hotel, so they moved us up here to this one. We were able to go there straight after breakfast, which meant we had most...

Friendly service with clean rooms located in the central part of old Hanoi. It was a perfect location for our needs at a good price. We stayed 2 nights and then headed off to Ha Long Bay for 2 nights before returning for another night. A reasonably good breakfast was provided. A variety of restaurants plus great street food is...
