The service at Charming Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The location was ideal in a quiet lane way just a stones throw away from Ho Hoan Kiem lake. Mr Duc and his staff were friendly and very welcoming. For the price, the hotel was unquestionably good value. It was the service that sealed the deal. Rooms were clean and presentable with...

We stayed there for 4 nights. The service was great. The hotel was very clean. We even had our own computer with internet in our room. It was also possible to print things in the hotel for free. The breakfast was good, too. The people who worked there were so nice. Thex did everything for us. If we had a...

I traveled with my wife and my brother from Thailand. We choose a double room with extra bed. It's so nice & clean. All staffs are helpful. Mr.Duc (Hotel Mgr.) arranged a taxi to pick us from Noibai airport (15 USD). The drinks in fridge have reasonable price. Don't try to buy from outside because I buy from outside by...

Hanoi is abuzz with the 1000 yr.celebrations, if you could say even more of a buzz than before with street celebrations for the new moon in each few street holding their own perfomance while around the lake ( Hoan Kiem) the big guns are setting up their fog machines, sound systems(with woofers big enough to blow someone off their feet...

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Charming Hotel in Hanoi. The service here is excellent. The staff is so kind and helpful in every way. They always smile, never complain and seem to genuinely enjoy the job and meeting new people. I was traveling alone and they made me feel safe and comfortable. They knew me by name the...

I think the reason this hotel rates so well on Trip Advisor is because of the outstanding staff. The two young ladies who run the front reception really are fantastic. Always have a smile on their face, will do anything to help. But for me thats about the best part of this place. I stayed in both the superior and...

We booked at Charming Hotel due to all the good reviews. I asked for a $30 one with a window-many are windowless. This was the most we paid in Vietnam, and we were surprised to find the room not big enough to swing a cat in- under 3 metres wide. My husband can stretch from wall to wall. We checked...

Dear Mr Duc We are happy that we make a right choice to stay in Charming Hotel. It was a pleasant stay throughtout our 1-week trip in Hanoi. Your service staff had been helpful, friendly and most importantly, no communication barrier as they understand and speak English. Overall, the hotel is well maintained and clean, which include the room. Considering...

I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for somewhere quiet but central in the Old Quarter. The hotel is only small but facilities are great and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed for 9 nights and received a free room upgrade which was a bonus. We also booked a Halong Bay overnight cruise through the hotel...
