We like the Diamond hotel Hanoi and highly recommend it to everyone. The staff is really friendly and wants to help you with everything. My aunt has the Birthday during our stay in Hanoi and staff gave her a Birthday cake with candles and flowers. It was a lovely surprise for us and we will remember her Birthday in Hanoi.

We have had a really great stay here, after a overnight trip to Halong we could come back and shower and take a nap before our train to Sa Pa. Storing our extra bags here between trips. and a 5am check in after Sa Pa. If it is possible the staff here will do everything to make it happen. Tours...

We recommend this hotel, the staff are absolutely fantastic and can not do enough for you, and are extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with. The rooms were great and clean. Location of this hotel is also fantastic - in the old quarter. If you stay here we also booked our Halong bay trip with the hotel, high quality, safe...

We experienced very bad service when booked ASIA palace 2 which we found when arrived that they owned Thai Son and ASIA Palace 1 as well. As soon as we set foot in Asia Palace 2, the owner instructed us to go to Asia Palace 1 which she said had "bigger room". We were so naive to have listened to...

Give this place a miss if you can. We paid for nights in advance and then we we changed our plans we had to get very stroppy to get our money back. TIP: always mention Trip Advisor!!! YAY! Showers are dodgy - we heard other people complaining about no water pressure and cold water. Goes up 6 floors PLUS with...

I had to laugh when I read another reviewer's comment about 'finding the cleaner asleep in bed' on their return to their room, as this seems to represent a little quirk of the Asia Palace. On waking on our first - and subsequently last - morning, we discovered the hot water was not working. 'These things happen', I hear you...

We stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions in the last 2 weeks, once for 2 nights and then a single night a week later. We had the VIP family room and the 2nd time paid $84USD for 1 night (nearly double what was paid the week before), it was on the 4th floor, no lift, carried own bags, and...

The hotel rooms was very pretty. Everything was quite new. Bathroom was excellent. The location is excellent but it has its downside. We got a street view room as there were no other rooms available (the are two rooms per floor: one with street view and another with interior view. There are no glass in the windows, just wooden cover...

Very friendly staff. Located in the old town of Hanoi near the lake and shopping district. Free Internet. Big, clean and modern rooms with ac and new bath rooms. Breakfest buffet included. Best value for the money we paid. Best Hotel in Hanoi we stayed. The noise from the street is for Vietnam acceptable.

This hotel is in a perfect location right near the Old Quarter. The staff were SO friendly and helpful. There was a relaxed atmosphere at the hotel. Rooms were very big as were the beds. Clean and tidy, a great place - with the staff really making the stay a memorable one!
