My phone fell behind the bed, and when I moved it I discovered what looked like a graveyard. - Mice. I was talking to... More

I was recommended by some guy on an airplane (and confirmed it with tripadvisor) that this hostel is trustworthy and helpful and they were. I needed a place to leave my bag during a half day stopover in Hanoi and I can confirm that they not only agreed to look after my bag at NO CHARGE, but offered me advice... More

I stayed here in a private room that was huge. 2 queen sized beds! The room was clean enough. I have ridiculously high standards for cleanliness. Some may give them 5 stars in this category but I have been to cleaner hostels so I reserve my 5 stars for those. The customer service varies by who is at the desk.... More

I spent a lot of time here on my travels through Asia. Really did feel like my home away from home. The friendliest, most helpful staff you could imagine. The rooms are well kept and spacious and the rooftop chill out area provides a great space to escape the hustle and bustle of busy Hanoi. A few extras include fresh... More

Hanoi hostel is a standard hostel, enjoyed my stay there. They have a happy hour everyday where the fresh beer is free, which is never a bad thing. The rooms are fine, and for the first time in the trip I woke up cold and had to turn the fans off during the night! The tours that are run from... More

We found Hanoi Hostel while in Ho Chi Minh City as we needed somebody to pick up our bags (which we would post to Hanoi), and Candy from Hanoi Hostel was happy to help. We arrived in Hanoi Hostel yesterday with our bags waiting for us (a month after posting) and were greeted with happy smiles and a free breakfast.... More

The trip started when we took a mini bus from hanoi airport to the city and took a random taxi from where the bus dropped us off, we showed him the address and asked how much it would be, and he said meter! meter! So I thought, okay, meter, it should be okay, so we got in the taxi, then... More
