This is an okay option if you want to stay in old quarter. The front desk and downstairs staff were very helpful, with warm greetings, including holding the front door open, getting us a taxi or transport to the airport. The hotel rooms look fine and the beds are not bad, but the bathrooms have issues common in Vietnamese budget...

I live a few hours outside of Hanoi but every time I visit (twice per month) I stay at Legacy Ngo Gach. The service is great and location is perfect as it is not so noisy as the busiest streets in the old quarter, but still within 2 minutes walking distance. Prices are very good and the staff will go...

It really depends what room you get. Last year (booked by Intrepid tour group, and again this year) we were lucky enough to get an end room - any room ending in 01 is best. This year we asked for a corner room but got the dreary end of the building. A window which let in no light and a...

The room had no window, was dark. mattress very hard. The photo does not match the hotel rooms at all. no sound proofing with slat window opening to the hallway. i.e. no privacy whatsoever. The staff were very nice, but the breakfast was horrible.

The room was bright and clean, the bed was big and it was good. I just encountered a night market on the weekends. I could walk out from the hotel and enjoyed Hanoi night. The staff were young and cute, kind and feel good. Because I enjoyed Vietnam, I will use this hotel when I go again. Thank you!

Martin from travel services has been very kind and helpful. He offered all kinds of options of tours in northern Vietnam and had patience. Martin speaks very good English and that is not obvious in Hanoi.

I had a great stay here. Great price and the rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. Special thanks to Thuong at the front desk for her outstanding customer service, and being very accommodating when our plans changed last minute. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to walk from the Long Bien bus stop. Easy to walk to the rest of old quarter. Staff were friendly who helped me to buy a SIM card from the shop down the street. My friend had a upgraded room with a spa bath and window to the street. Room envy. I had a small room without a window...

Located on the heart of the old quarter you get a sense of the real Hanoi. The rooms were very clean and the staff extremely helpful. Especially Martin! He's a legend. Try the Bun Cha next door. Binh Minh Jazz Club was really cool. Also walk around the Hoan Kiem Lake at night for plenty of quirky sights of the...
