The towels in the room were torn and ratty and the one I had was covered in brown and green stains. On our second night (after an overnight stay in Halong bay) the hand towel was likewise worn and had holes in it. If you ask for a non-smoking room you are told that it is up to you whether...

The hotel was fine. The location was a bit further from the lake area than others in its price range. I couldn't figure out why clean dry towels were on a shelf in the shower. Also, the bathroom floor got flooded while one took a shower. The only to put soap, shampoo and conditioned, while showering was on the floor....

I enjoyed my stay at Hanoi Dolphin hotel. The room was comfortable. I appreciated the cooks for the delicious breakfast buffet. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I am especially grateful to Anna Nguyen who helped retrieve a jacket that i had left in a tour van and to Mr. Thanh for handling whatever requests I had.

Now known as Dolphin Hotel under new management. Centre of Old Quarter but set back from street. They held our luggage twice during short trips away and sent a staff member to find us when we'd left something behind accidentally before leaving the city for one of these trips. Free internet use, large comfortable room on 4th floor with street...
