Everything about this hotel is first class. The rooms are compact and well equipped with lots of little extras for example ceramic bottles containing shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, daily fresh fruit, complimentary snacks(crystallised ginger, biscuits and sugared lotus seeds.) The staff are wonderful. They are concerned for your comfort and enjoyment. The a la carte breakfast is exceptional. This... More

We have travelled all over the world and chose this hotel because it was the top choice for Lonely Planet. When the driver dropped us in this tiny lane I was concerned. We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. The staff is professional, efficient and personable. We were treated like family. They speak excellent English and take care of everything.... More

This review is long-overdue, I actually stayed in October 2013. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Hanoi and this hotel has availability just book it now before someone else does. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are incredible, free fruit each day, a media centre in case of rainy days and the breakfast is the best I had... More

We were not actually scheduled to stay here but had a extra night in Hanoi and were very impressed! Warm genuine service and super helpful. We stayed in the family room as it was the only one available and it was a lovely room with 5* facilities and some lovely little touches! Big chain hotels could learn a lot from... More

Our arrival in Hanoi was a bit wet and we were extremely tired after not only a long flight ex Frankfurt but also a 4 hour train ride to Frankfurt. Upon arrival in the ealy morning we were welcomed by a beautiful Vietnamese angel by the name of Huong. Although not obliged to give us an early check in they... More

This little hotel has arguably the best staff I have ever encountered in all my years of travelling. Their attention to detail more than made up for the minor problems with the facility. We were made to feel so welcome we hated to leave after our three day stay.

From the discrete display of my name at the airport (to avoid scams one imagines) to the taxi being met at the alley entrance for luggage transfer, this hotel specialises in service. If you have a mobility problem there are 11 rooms on 6 floors and the stairs are steep. There is no lift. The rooms are medium sized, fully... More

What a terrific experience this hotel was! From our initial booking contact with Mr Thang to checkout. A car met us late at night, we were escorted down a quiet side alley to a delightful and charming welcome of fresh juice and a warm face cloth. We were shown up four flights - two rooms to a floor - to... More

A friend recommended this hotel to me and he was right. It is smack in the middle of the old city. The staff is incredibly helpful. They had good restaurant recommendations and practical tips.We booked a Halong Bay trip through them (before we left from the US), which turned out to be great. After we booked it, they sent us... We stayed at the Elite twice, either side of a NW tour. Met by hotel transport at the airport. Hotel staff were at the end of the narrow alley in which the hotel is situated to welcome us and carry bags. Good welcome briefing on check-in with useful city map provided. Hotel is small - 11 rooms on 6 floors.... More
