The location is perfect but I wouldn't book this hotel for the second time. There are all kind of smaller things which weren't okay and to me the hotel felt (starting to get) outdated. The view from the breakfast room is great.

Hotel was fine, fantastic location in Old Quarter but they have no interconnecting rooms which was a problem for us as we were travelling with 4 small children (2,4,6 and 8 yrs of age) and I had previously emailed to ask if they could provide us with interconnecting rooms. The staff were very accommodating in changing us to 2 x...

We recently stayed at the May De Ville Old Quarter Hotel in Hanoi and found it awesome. Great Location , right smack bang in the heart of it. Easy walk to all. The pool is great with fantastic views of the city. Our room was massive, so big our son could run around in it. The balcony was huge too...

Top marks for location, roof top pool, views at breakfast and large size of rooms. However, a lot of the rooms don't have views or proper daylight and the windows look over light wells or air conditioning units. The hotels has been built around old buildings so is an odd shape and of shoddy construction. One of the elevators' doors...

Very nice hotel. Large rooms, very clean and the friendliest staff. Breakfast is on 10th floor, buffet is superb and the views too. I broke a gold neck chain, (caught it on my suitcase) and Brendan one of the bellboys immediately offered to have it repaired for me. The next day it was waiting for me. Such thoughtfulness abounds in...

We only stayed here one night after we came back from Halong Bay - thank GOD it was just that one night! The room (806) itself was HUGE, but the smell in the mouldy room hits you as soon as you enter. But when we got the air-con going, it emanated a sewage like smell into the room that was...

Hotel is centrally located, clean, food is good. Pool on rooftop nice. In terms of rate I would say value for money if you want more than standard than go for a more pricier hotel. Breakfast was good as well.

We were here for four nights and definitely glad we booked here as it's a lovely place to stay. Stayed in a private room with en-suite bathroom - really clean and a comfy bed - had some of our best nights sleep here! Breakfast in the morning is varied - you can have traditional pho, rice, noodles, bread etc. And...

This hotel is very well situated to enable you to explore the old quarter of Hanoi. It is right in the thick of it but quiet at night. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The hotel staff were amazing! They helped me through my changing plans because of the weather. They referred me to #72 Ma May Restaurant where I had a great dinner of soft crab, and we all around wonderful. If you want a glimpse in the old history of Hanoi, this is it! The Old Quarter is a happening place at...
