Right in the middle of the old town this hotel is well located. Roof top pool and area to sit out are average but given you are in the middle of Hanoi old town cant really complain. Restaurant is OK and on the 10th floor...More
The hotel is in the middle of old quarter. Rooms are a little small but sufficient with aircon and refrigerator. Minimart and restaurants of all sorts very close by. Busy and save area. Would recommend it.

We travel a bit and research properties relatively throughly via TA but this one slipped through the cracks!
Whilst the May de Ville is an amazing location in the old quarter, I would suggest booking elsewhere, even if you are only sleeping in there

There may be "windows" in name only - you might look out onto a brick wall or air conditioning unit. Front desk was distinctly unhelpful about 'better rooms' and kept saying hotel was fully booked, without even checking on... More
