Great hostel for a few nights or a week. Not the cleanest but at $5 it has good value. Showers have good pressure and hot water. Dorm rooms have good lockers. Great location to walk anywhere. Close to the lake to walk down to and relax. Lots of good restaurants near by as well. If it were a little cleaner...

The reception area isn't that clean and they take your passport on arrival and keep it overnight which we were really uncomfortable with. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy with ensuite bathroom, but the rooms aren't too spacious and staff do not speak good english. There is also no common area to sit in. Pretty good location Average...

Central Backpacker Hostel is one of the best hostel in Hanoi central area. The staff (Hien, Dat, Tung and everyone else working here) are extremely helpful and very friendly. The rooms are properly cleaned every day; they even check the hot water on a daily basis and make sure everything is in a good working condition in your room. The...

Staff were friendly and extremely helpful with all the bookings of the tours and buses, rooms and facilities were nice and clean, pretty close to the attractions in Hanoi. Had a fantastic stay here in CBH. Would recommend to everyone!

The hostel itself is really good, bit more chill than the sister hostel in the old quarter which is fine since you can simply go over there for the bar crawl, free beer or walking tour. Very clean, good lockers and friendly staff. The real selling point is the ha long bay hideaway tours they offer. It was by far...

The bar set up is perfect for meeting people and making new friends, free beer hour is great for bringing everybody together. Just take a seat at one of the long tables and you'll be chatting to a bunch of other travellers in no time! The hostel itself is clean and the staff are helpful, and there is usually a...

clean hostel with free towel. The breakfast was simple but very good. Helpful and friendly staffs. They help us to organised trips to Halong bay and sapa and both were excellent, especially the halong hideaway tour. The free beer was good chance to meet other travellers. Would definitely stay here again.

Lockers are dodgy. Beds are comfortable, breakfast is fair. Great location. We went on their Halong Bay 1 Day trip which would have been okay, except for the fact that they cut our trip by about two hours. So instead of being there from 12pm to after sunset, as they advertise, we left around 3pm. On top of that, they...

Thank you so much for your review. We really appreciated that. To the Halong bay 1 day tour, We have not cut any activities in the tour that we advertised on our website. The reason that you came back earlier than usual is the trafic situation. YOu did the tour on the Tet holiday so the trafic situation is much...
