Nestled in a serene location near the Old Quarter, the Hanoi Paradise Center Hotel & Spa offers a peaceful retreat with its immaculate rooms and praised cleanliness. While some guests experience mixed feelings about the value, with certain reviews pointing out issues with room noise and maintenance, the hotel's convenient location and friendly staff often receive commendations. However, opinions on amenities like breakfast and service are varied, and privacy concerns have been noted regarding bathroom doors.

The property is centrally located in the Old square and everything is pretty walkable from here. The staff is really helpful and willing to offer discounts on the airport can drop. The breakfast is included in the room price and quite good. There is a on demand SPA available until 11 PM which is quite cheap.

Fanatic hotel, nice rooms and great location. We arrived at 8am, and they had our room ready for us by 9am (check in is normally 2pm), and let us use the breakfast buffet whilst we waited. The staff even took the time to walk us through the map of the city, and gave recommendations of places to visit/eat

This was the third hotel we experienced in Hanoi and the best in this price range. Why? Despite some reviews degrading the location down an alleyway, when you have stayed in other Hanoi hotels you realise what a benefit this is as it's so much quieter! Staff are lovely, room was top (free upgrade) and we had a really good sleep for once. Breakfast was the best of the hotels we experienced here. Location is perfect as you are on the edge of the Old Quarter, so with easier access, but still ideal for exploring the Old Quarter. We are booking this hotel again for our final night before we leave Vietnam, and when/if we return to Hanoi (hopefully) we will stay here :)

We booked this hotel on booking.com after spending some time picking out a hotel. When we arrived, hoping to enjoy our last night treat from travelling we were told that there was a problem with the floor and we were going to get ‘upgraded’ to the sister hotel with a pool. I wasn’t happy with this anyway after spending looking at various hotels and picking one we would like. However as we were tired and we had plans for dinner we moved to the ‘sister’ hotel. After arriving at the hotel which took around 30 mins more with traffic at the time De ville Legend hotel it was not what we wanted at all and didn’t have a pool or facilities which we were shown. It was definitely not an ‘upgrade’. We have been so disappointed and our last night absolutely ruined. I am so upset I could cry to be honest. We were not given any remuneration for moving hotel and had to pay the same price. Also a lot of time wasted on our last night messing around with hotels instead of enjoying ourselves. I would definitely think twice if you were thinking about booking this hotel, it seems they may overbook on purpose to fill out other hotels in the area. Also be careful when people start mentioning ‘upgrades’ it’s more likely to be a scam.

A disappointing experience – I do not recommend this hotel

I had an unpleasant experience at this hotel, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. The room we stayed in had obvious maintenance issues: the shower was constantly clogged, making it difficult to use.

Additionally, the breakfast was far below expectations – very limited options, questionable food quality, and some items even seemed stale.

What bothered me the most was the attitude at the reception. Instead of addressing the issues we reported, we were practically forced to leave a positive review before checking out.

I find this behavior unprofessional, and unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. I will not return, and I do not recommend this place to other travelers.

Good hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel is conveniently located near Ho Hoàn Kiem. All highlights are within walking distance. Even the Long Bien Bridge and Market.

Breakfast consists of Vietnamese food as well as croissants, white bread and baguettes. Furthermore, cheese, jam and ham. Eggs are fried upon request. Downside is the orange juice. Very watery. On the last day we discovered very early in the morning that the thick layer at the bottom had sunk. This just needs to be stirred often.

We had a superior room with two separate beds and a window. The beds were extra long but limited the walking space behind the bed.
The reception of TV channels is poor.

When paying by credit card, an additional 3% fee will be charged.

We slept in this hotel during the typhoon, we had nowhere to go, no food or drinks for example a local shop, they offered very sweet spaghetti bolagnese.
There was a leak in our room due to this extreme weather, at first she wanted to fix it with towels, but that didn't help immediately got another room, and all the staff were ready to move our stuff.

Location is great! You are so in the ‘center’

Due to the bad weather we wanted to leave Hanoi but it was impossible to book a plane ticket to ho chi Minh in the end a staff member booked us a plane ticket!

The only flaw we found that the beds were very hard, but that is personal preference!

Such a great base for exploring Hanoi. Stayed here for a few nights and had a lovely time. Clean rooms and public areas, a simple yet sufficient breakfast with cereal, fruit and pho, and helpful reception staff who can arrange a laundry service, taxis, tours etc.

Sharing my experience so other travelers can avoid this place.

Made my booking for a family room more than a month ago via a third party platform and on the day of arrival was told that our room had some air con water leakage and there is no room for us. The receptionist/sales guy also tried to gaslight me saying that he tried to call me multiple times on the arrival day to confirm my reservation but I didn’t answer. Long story short, I was forced to cancel the booking on my end and go to another hotel that he suggested.

Reading the other reviews, it seem like it’s not the first time sudden cancellations happened which makes it highly dubious. Now I can’t even write a review to warn other travelers on the third party platform (which they received high ratings for)

Anyway the hotel is located in a back alley and doesn’t look anything like the pictures at all. Glad we dodged a bullet.

p/s thinking it was a genuine unfortunate event, we naively went ahead to book a day trip tour with them after we were told the bad news. The price we paid wasn’t cheap, yet on the day itself, instead of having a designated tour guide, we were randomly thrown to join another tour group and were neglected throughout.

Please avoid this place at all costs. There are many better options in Hanoi.

We made a reservation for two nights.
Once arrived on site to check-in the receptionist indicates a problem of air conditioning in our room.
They offer us to re-accommodate in another hotel moderately an extra charge to us.
We are very disappointed with the management of this property.
In addition the hotel writes us via whatsapp during the day to get the time of our arrival without mentioning the problem of air conditioning.

No real views rom this hotel. We faced the side lane that the entry is off, but at level 5 didn't have any issues with noise
