Indochina Gold Hotel is my second home for staying and going for a trip. I was so happy and surprised when I arrived at Hotel, with wonderful, friendly and helpful staff greeting and welcoming.Mr Tom, a Tour management guy who was helping me to get a wonderful and unforgetable trip to HaLong bay and Sapa Village. My room is very...

This hotel was acceptable, but nowhere near the 4.5 rating it appears to have (as of 24 August 2011). Of the 20 reviews posted in April and May, 18 appear unrealistic to me (and I have flagged them to Trip Advisor). Read the reviews posted since 27 July for more balanced reviews of the hotel. This review is specifically for...

This hotel was not what I expected or paid for. We got the airport transfer this went well and was all good. Arrived to a very friendly reception nice cold drink and then as mentioned by another reviewer below we were given the hard sell by Tom (Thom) before we were allowed in our room. After only two hours sleep...

We stayed here on and off for 6 nights between trips to Sapa and Halong Bay. We took the $18 airport pick up which was totally stress free. The driver was waiting with a sign and dropped us to the hotel. The hotel pay him and then you pay the hotel so no rip offs. The staff were mostly friendly...

So the hotel is in a good location, the room is absolutely huge and beautifully decorated i must say. I even joined their Halong Bay tour which was slightly pricey but enjoyable none the less. The main problem i had was with RATS. I stayed on level 2, facing out to the streets and on my first night, i heard...

Traveling for fun we booked this hotel because on tripadvisor many of the reviews said it was very quiet. Unfortunately there is construction going on right next door and across the street. We were woke at 7:00am to a jackhammer that lasted all day and then when we returned after dinner at about 11:00pm the construction workers were scooping the...

The people who work at the Indochina Gold Hotel couldn't be nicer. They do everything they can to make your visit a pleasure, but there are some problems that nice people just can't fix. The hotel has no elevator, and the later you check in during the day the longer your hike to your room. Although we pre-paid for our...

I stayed at their sister hotel two doors down, however, the sales team at the Indochina Gold Hotel arranged for all of our tours in Viet Nam....and they did a great job. The price was very competitive, hotels and food never disappointed. In addition, this hotel exchanged US dollars at a better rate than the nearby banks. We got to...
