We stayed 2 nights in Hanoi Amanda. The hotel is located in Old Quarter, just 5 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, Thang Long water puppet theatre and Ngoc Sun temple. Gift shops and cafés are everywhere near the hotel. A new 24/7 convenience store has just opened across the hotel during our 2nd night in the hotel. Very easy...

Was recommended this place by the tourist guide at the airport. The place was clean and modern when we arrived and the room were also clean and modern. Stayed one night and had a decent sleep. Staff were helpful and guided us to good places to eat and go.

So we check-in on April 28th after spending 18 hours on the train from Da Nang to Hanoi, the staff was very nice and welcoming and they were kind enough to upgrade my room (for my birthday) on these point...

As always we love to stay in the thick of it. This hotel certainly is that. Right in the middle of the Old Quarter. Very reasonably priced. Clean, good air-con, decent breakfast. Strongly recommend. Rooms at front, spacious, but street noise starts early and goes on late. Fine for us, some might prefer a room at the back.

Amanda hotel has nive rooms, little bit outdated, but clean, spacious. The breakfast is okey, it's fresh and there is enough, but not really spectacular. There is also a tourcompany lokated in the hotel, so when you check inn you will be asked to book tours also.

The amanda hotel is great if u wanna stay for a few days in Hanoi. Our room was clean send the room service did a good job. Especially the service staff is awesome. They helped us booking tours to Halong Bay and ordered train and bus tickets with the best available seats. I would recommend this hotel without any doubts....

Belated trip review for trip on 7-11 Mar 2015. It was my 1st time in Hanoi, Vietnam! Really looking forward, but first few hours of the trip proved to be a disaster. Was driven by the local cab driver to a tourist agency (without me knowing) instead of our Hotel @ Golden Spring. And when the "deal" they offered didn't...

Good location! Simple but clean room. One bottle of fresh water included per day. Nice breakfast buffé (omelettes made by order). All in all, very good value for money and would definitely recommend to travellers on a budget!
