The hotel exceeded our expectations. When we arrived we were greeted with a cool drink and the whole check in process was seamless. The reception was nicely decorated and gave a great first impression. We booked a balcony room, the room was very spacious, the view from the balcony was great. Even though there is noise outside, with the double doors you could not hear anything in the room. The air conditioning was very efficient, the room had a full bath and shower. I could not fault it. The hotel is in a great location, you can walk to lots of local restaurants and shops, it is the heart of the action.
I used the Essence Spa during our stay and an hours massage was less than $30, it was great, in fact it was so good I went twice. The breakfast was good with the choice of items from the menu or the buffet. A special mention to Daisy, she was so helpful and friendly. The cost of food and drink is very low compared with the US. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Hanoi.

My family and I are staying at the Aira Boutique hotel, the Essence restaurant staff are wonderful and accommodating. I have food allergies and there were some dishes of the morning buffet that looked delicious but I passed on but they went above and beyond and made the item without the allergen ( without me asking) for me to enjoy! Stay here eat here you won’t be disappointed with top tier customer service.

Fantastic little hotel in the heart of bustling Hanoi. The 'Art Deco' theme is carried throughout the hotel, including the Restaurant, Roof-top pool and Sky Bar. The hotel facilities are everything you need after a hot day exploring the city, which is easily walkable from the door. The staff are brilliant and can't do enough for you and are happy to arrange drivers and guides or just point out the best locations. Our room was on the 7th floor, close to the small but perfectly suitable pool, and was immaculately presented, with bottled water, soft drinks and beer replenished each day. The Aircon was good, as was the water pressure in the ample shower and the towels and robes were big and fluffy. Breakfast was awesome, with hot and cold buffet, fresh fruit and vegetables and traditional Vietnamese spring rolls and noodles. In all, a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning soon.

Everything about our stay at this hotel was wonderful.
We arrived on a Saturday for a 5 night stay in Hanoi, but hadn't booked any excursions and weren't sure what our plans were. Christine and her team checked us in and we asked if they could help us plan some trips while we were there. She sat down with us and went through the options for Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh. She checked availability directly with the tour operator got us booked on a one night Orchid Cruise the next day. It was good we coordinated with her early because the rest of the week was booked out.
We then booked our Ninh Binh tour and before we even got to our room we had our stay mostly planned.
Christine later sent specific recommendations via WhatsApp for restaurants, coffee, etc. She was absolutely supportive and it felt like we had our own personal concierge.
The hotel rooftop bar is great for a lounge feel with good drinks. Long and his team have the rooftop dialed in. We needed a break from folk music and light jazz, so for us the EDM chill background music recharged our batteries and made us feel at home. The bar team always spent time talking with us and making us feel like VIPs.
The hotel is art deco style and very clean and quaint. Our room was very big and had a balconey. Everything was top quality.
We also used the laundry service which for a hotel we felt was a very fair price since many overcharge for this service. They took care of everything and it came back fresh, clean, and neatly folded.
The hotel restaurant is very nice. We had breakfast there a couple of days and the buffet is perfect if you don't want to dodge motor bikes first thing in the morning. The staff was always attentive, smiling, and welcoming.
The hotel booked our transfer back to the airport and on the day of our travel, Christine had the driver stop at a coffee shop for us since we had run out of time to get one before it was time to go.
Highly recommended hotel for your stay in Hanoi. This hotel's staff will take care of you. Just ask and they'll make it happen.

Great hotel for my first night in Hoi An, very welcoming, helpful and smiling staff. An impeccable room with everything you need and a great swimming pool on the 7th floor which overlooks the city, the water is a little cloudy but the temperature is perfect. Otherwise the restoration is of good quality.

Very nice hotel located on the bottom edge of the old quarter area of Hanoi. We were lucky to get a room on the 8th floor at the back of the hotel, which was very quiet with no noise at all from the hectic streets around us. The breakfast buffet was good and served in the 9th floor restaurant, with nice views over the city and there was a nice looking rooftop bar, although we didn't get chance to use it.
The hotel location was good and we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit, only occassionally getting a taxi when we wanted some respite from all the scooters! Railway Street was less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel and the bars and restuarants around Beer Street were around 20 minutes.
Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

This is a very special hotel. The location is fantastic, lots of amazing food options all around and walking distance from French quarter and old quarter. The staff were incredibly helpful, full of very good recommendations and when we were after something specific they were able to make some great suggestions. Tom at reception was very kind and helpful, and all the staff at the rooftop bar were great.
The hotel itself is very tastefully designed. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfy.
10/10 would stay again!

We had a lovely stay in Aira boutique hotel Hanoi.
The hotel itself is located close to the Old Quarter and train rails, which in my view is pretty much the best location.
The hotel lobby, bar and restaurant are modern and hip design. Likewise, the rooms are designed to look luxurious and trendy. I appreciate that the minibar in the rooms are complimentary, and they have a nice little pantry for guests to enjoy coffee, infused water and tea.
The housekeeping staff comes once a day to tidy up the room, and check that the minibar is fully stocked. Great service.
Staff were very friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. I would like to say many Thanks especially to Jane. She was very helpful. All her suggestions were very good. Thank you so much, it made our holiday perfect!
I will definitely recommend this hotel!

Loved this hotel. It’s like a little sanctuary in the middle of the mayhem. Situated in a fab location with a 4 min walk to train street and maybe a 10 min or so walk to the Ho CHi Minh mausoleum. It prob takes about 15-20 mins to walk to the old town but that’s at a slow leisurely pace and you can always get a tuk tuk bike ride back for around £10 which is a bit of fun.
The staff are sooooo friendly and helpful and the room was just beautiful. You also get 20% off their restaurant there (which I highly recommend you eat at …. Separate review posted on it …. As it’s fantastic) you also get happy hour on cocktails and wine at their rooftop bar which is great too. .
