We spent three nights in this beautiful hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The view from our window was amazing and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff were very friendly and looked after our every need. We ate at the bar downstairs for lunch each day and we were thankful that they had a barista who...

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a Luxury Escape package and really enjoyed the experience. Very pleasant room overlooking the lake, quiet (we slept well). Breakfast was fresh with many choices. Service was impeccable. We could walk to Old Quarter, the Mausoleum, Temple of Literacy, Hanoi Hilton and then got taxi back. The executive benefits were amazing...

If you are to travel to Hanoi, this is, hands down, the hotel to stay at. The service is just exceptional. They really went out of their way to help me in every single occasion they had a chance to do so. Their spa has the best massages at very reasonable prices (ask for the balinese massage!). Always book wiht...

Though a little dated, we enjoyed the location of the hotel (next to the Westlake) with amazing view of the lake from the room. Across the street is a KFC (which the kids enjoyed) and I enjoyed the coffee at the many cafes around the hotel. The buffet breakfast was also great, especially the freshly baked breads !! I was...

We stayed the hotel during the Easter Holiday 2017. The checkin was good. All staff were very helpful and speak English very well. The room was ok but definitely need upgraded. We had breakfast and dinner at the ground floorvrestaurant. The foods was good, with Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Vegan and Western dishes. As we took the evening train to Sapa,...

We also stayed at this hotel through a Luxury Escapes package. There were quite a number staying through this mechanism. We found the staff very attentive to our various needs and usually found one who spoke reasonable English. It usually required a taxi ride to most of the key attractions but the taxi ride seldom cost more than NZ$10. WOuld...

The hotel is set virtually out of town, in an unattractive area, although walking to the "attractions" was not too onerous ( on the feet - on the nose, it was a bit challenging!). We upgraded here three times - once when booking and twice on arrival (one of which at considerable cost), and we therefore probably got one of...

I booked to stay at Sofitel Plaza Hanoi (as it is now called) through a Luxury Escapes package and I wasn't disappointed.
