We celebrated our wedding anniversary in the hotel and they surprised us with a personalised hand decorated cake. We had a lovely room on the club floor. All day soft drinks and good selection of wine, spirits, canapes during the evening.. Able to get 3 pieces of laundry done every day which was very useful during a long trip. Staff in the lounge were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and shopping, especially Kimmy and Ellen, and gave us a real personal service. Buffet breakfast was excellent, enjoyed the very long pool which we had pretty much to ourselves. Lovely elegant areas in the hotel to sit and people watch, It was great being across from the Lotte centre where there a wide range of restaurants and food outlets. Red River Chinese was very good. Top of Hanoi bar on the 68th floor of the Lotta centre is mind blowing.

Thank you for Mr. Erwin - General Manager of Hanoi Daewoo Hotel through his birthday last week. This is second time on a month I and my girlfriend have tasted diversified foods here, therein, I really loved desserts due to unique its compared to these other I have ever tried. Therefore, the Swim & Din buffet makes me enjoy this atmosphere of best luxury hotel in Hanoi, the warming space enough for dating, meeting,...Furthermore, almost manager and restaurant staff could be a professional service I highly appreciated. They usually keep all clean and take care of guests more careful. There is nothing to be dissatisfied with quality of service, that's well. If I have additional review, I will suggest Hotel would like to organize outdoor buffet beside swimming pool as new changed service, its attracts more guests enjoyed. That's my suggestion and surely back to here more times.

A very good place to stay in Hanoi, Hanoi Daewoo Hotel can surprisingly make me feel as if we are at home. The staff members were so friendly and helpful, especially the mature lady with a short curly hair at the gym.
The hotel is located quite close to the old district and just a minute walk to the lake where locals usually go for joking. And in case you forget something, there is a big department store in the opposite side of the road.
The room was simple. The bed was comfortable, not too soft and not too hard for the back. The amenities provided in the bathroom were good. However, since the hotel has been in operation for quite many years, the room could be quite worn out.
The breakfast buffet was so delicious with varities of food to choose from. Asian, Western or just a cup of coffee or tea.

“Cockroach hotel” A family of four reserved two rooms. The night I checked in, there were cockroaches crawling in one room and an unknown bug crawling on the bed in another room, so I took a video and a photo to show them. I wanted to change hotels right away, but it was too late and I asked for a refund the next morning. I couldn't sleep at all and the bugs made me sick. Even though I had a rash, the senior sales manager asked me to talk in a quiet place and said that I would have to pay for one night's stay and that they would only cancel the remaining one night. I couldn't sleep and had to go to the hospital, but they said they only had simple medicine and told me to go to the hospital on my own, and I stayed for one night. They said the only thing they could do was refund the fee and move to another hotel or another room. I asked them to tell me the Agoda representative, but they also contacted me via email and said they did not know the Agoda representative. Then, they confirmed that Agoda would refund the money. Sophia at the concierge was very kind and polite,
