Great location in the old town. Very friendly staff. We stayed in a suite (more of a large room) but it was well worth the tariff. The hotel restaurant has a really good choice of food and is reasonable. Ask for a back room if traffic noise is a problem for you – we coped fine. Great value for money....

I was told on arrival "you're very lucky as your room has a window". Unfortunately the room was on the 5th floor and no elevator meant a lot of steps. Breakfast was OK; basic stuff. The main character on reception was your classic 'wheeler dealer'; constantly trying to up-sell but OK if you give him the short answer. Trying to...

Okay let's get straight to the point. This is a GREAT hotel with GREAT staff! We were greeted with a door opened for us and a warm welcome. The lady we spoke to on reception was friendly and professional with excellent use of the English language. If they don't fill all their rooms they upgrade you, at least this was...

We stayed here 4 nights and we had a pleasant experience. The staff are polite and helpful and the rooms are clean. Our stay was split into different nights due to an overnight stay in Halong Bay. The first room that we got was on level 6, it was quite difficult to get to with luggage as there is no...

This place is extremely clean and in a great location. If you are on a budget, it is the place to stay. The morning breakfast isn't great, but you can step outside and find dozens of great places for a bite to eat. I would recommend. One important note-- there is no elevator and, depending on your floor (we were...

Hotel room is clean and spacious. But please do not book any taxi from the hotel front desk. I have booked a taxi to a hotel at Noi Bai in the vicinity of the airport for 300,000 Dong and hotel's staff had took down the details of the destination hotel and we paid him cash for the taxi fare as...

My boyfriend and I came to stay for 5 nights and felt very at home here. The location was ideal, very central. The staff are so kind and friendly. Their advice was invaluable, they are always happy to chat and help you with whatever you need. Having free tea and coffee all day was also greatly appreciated. The breakfast had...

This hotel is in a great location. It's clean, the breakfast is good; eggs every day (with other sides and fruit, bread). I would have appreciated a pancake option. Staff are very friendly and informative. The rooms are really nice and beds were comfy. Stayed a few times and was impressed.

I would give LHDH 6 stars if I could!! My husband and I booked into LHDH at 11 Bat Dan Street with our daughter, son-in-law and 3 granddaughters aged 8, 7 and 3 in mid-January. We stayed for 5 weeks and could not have chosen a better place. The hotel is in the Old Quarter and a very easy walk...
