Like other reviewers the noise issues unfortunately down grade this hotel. Our room was on the 4th floor which was extremely noisy, musty smelling, internal with no natural light and not very clean. We requested another room and moved to the 7th floor (707), which was great. It was quiet, views over the roof tops, opening windows.

We were greeted with pleasant reception staff and porters. Our room was clean with all the usual amenities although an unusual shaped room that meant I had to crawl across the bed to get to my side. That aside, it was in a great location (albeit noisy if your room faced the street) - we were at the back of...

This hotel is very dirty and noisy. The whole hotel is dirty. Lifts.carpets in corridors are full with stains rooms are not really clean and smelly. We had cockroaches in the rooms and next door is a disco playing loud music till very late. We moved out after 1 night. This hotel needs urgent upgrade. The only positive thing from...

This hotel is very conveniently located and, on the whole, has good amenities. However, we had a few too many issues to give a good rating. 1. Our bathtub on our first night leaked horribly. 2. They couldn't find our reservation for our second night for about 20 mins. 3. It gets very noisy at night. 4. They made us...

If you think you can sleep through anything then this is the hotel for you. Its next door neighbor is a super loud nightclub that goes until 2am on weekends (including Sundays) and 1am on weekdays. We could hear every song so clearly we could sing along, and our bed vibrated a bit with the bass on one really heavy...

Settled in the heart of the old quarter, this quaint little hotel is perfectly located for exploring the fantastical sights, sounds and smells of Hanoi's hustle & bustle. It's within walking distance of Hoan Kiem Lake, Bach Ma temple and Hoa Lo prison, all of which are worth a visit. The hotel rooms are clean but they vary in size...

We stayed here for 2 x 2 night stints, over a weekend then midweek. (in an organised tour so we couldn't change for the second stay although would have liked to) The hotel is quite nice, great location in the old quarter and friendly staff but if you're looking for a quiet place to sleep then this is not what...

This hotel has all the makings of an excellent find. Friendly, accommodating staff, central location, clean rooms, very good buffet breakfast. However, if you are looking for a place to enjoy a restful night's sleep before heading out for sightseeing - this is not it. There is a nightclub next door that is so loud, you will find yourself unable...

After 4 nights in this centrally located (Hanoi Old Quarter) hotel we are happy to applaud both the hotel and wonderful, cheery, helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble even arranged my laundry during a trip away and had it ready on my return. Their connection to the nearby new Madam Yen Restaurant and closeness tofriendly nearby bars and coffee...

We stayed here 3 different times during our time in Northern Vietnam--each room was very nice & spacious, everything has been upgraded within the last few years. The staff was friendly & very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of pastries, Vietnamese food & an egg station. We loved Ma May street where this hotel is located--many restaurants,...
