We were expecting to places in 3 separate villas but when we arrived we had a 5 villa area to ourselves with a butler (totally took us by surprise). We loved the view, we loved the rooms and we loved the free spirits. Our Butler arranged for all our laundry to be done free of charge (which was great one...

Our experience at the Nam Hai was unforgettable! Our villa included two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two outdoor showers, an enormous living room, and a BEAUTIFUL infinity pool! The view was incredible. Our butler was extremely helpful. The dinner was ok, but the breakfast buffet was delicious, with traditional Vietnamese food, to western style food. The city of Hanoi was colorful...

Given a complimentary upgrade to this hotel after their sister hotel (The Art Trendy Hotel) was having some plumbing issues. The adjoining rooms we were given were brand new (never been stayed in before). Huge comfortable beds (all beds in Vietnam are hard mattresses), modern TVs, complimentary water, coffee and tea and big modern showers. High quality of the rooms...

I have stayed here for many times. The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and tidy, located in the center of the Old Quarter. Price are good. The only thing seem to be a small issue is no parking area for cars.

Breakfast was OK. Staff though it was funny when we had some items stolen from our room. They refused to question the cleaning staff and just brushed us off. I'm guessing they really don't care, after all we're all rich foreigners. A lot better hotels in the area for the same price.

We booked a Superior Room and when they checked us into it the room was small with a very tiny window at the ceiling so we felt a little closed in. The hotel itself is very nice the rooms are all done in wood bed was not too bad but then all beds in Asia seem to be hard. They...

The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of most sights that tourists tend to want to visit. The staff were very helpful and even though their English was not very good we managed to communicate effectively. The room was as per the photo on their website and very clean. The bathroom was in need of renovation as the shower...

This is an average hotel. The beds are comfortable and rooms are fairly big for Hanoi. The timber furniture is absolutely stunning. The WiFi is great. The only downsides are the tv's are really fuzzy and the bathrooms are very old- the water from the shower goes all over the floor. However, the showers are very warm and don't run...

I admit it has been a few years since I stayed here and it had recently opened but it remains one of the most stunning hotels anywhere. Decor, rooms, lighting are exquisite. Yes this is an expensive hotel but it is what an expensive hotel should be! Our 'room' was a stand alone unit, indoor outdoor showers, perfect bed and...

“It is in a busy street area and the front windows go out to the street, so the higher up the better to reduce the noise. It was cold and so the windows were closed. In warmer weather the street noise may be too much to open the windows.”
