Guests have consistently applauded Lavender Central Hotel & Spa for its exceptional service, often noting the staff's dedication to ensuring a memorable stay. The hotel's cleanliness receives high marks, with its well-maintained rooms and facilities frequently mentioned. Nestled in an ideal location, the hotel provides easy access to nearby attractions and dining. Visitors also enjoy the boutique atmosphere, complete with French-inspired decor. While the rooms are considered modern and tranquil, a few guests find them to be on the smaller side. However, the array of amenities, including a praised spa and varied breakfast options, coupled with perceived overall value, makes it a popular choice among travelers.

What a lovely stay we had at Lavender Central! Centrally located and service that goes more than the extra mile. I fell in love with the foyer when I walked in, very classy with a bit of funk. Breakfast is served in a happy yellow room, and has a variety of choices. Back to the service - it really stands out. From transport to day trips, everything was organised with a smile. Directions given, luggage stored, money exchanged - nothing was too much trouble; they even checked each time if there was something else they could do for us. They thought of everything, even walking outside to check that we get into the right taxi, making sure we don't get overcharged. I highly highly recommend the Lavender. If ever in Hanoi again I'll stay here again.

We slept 3 nights here.
Very well located in the heart of the old districts. The hotel is on a human scale, quiet. The staff can help you book your taxi and transfers. There are travel agencies and massage parlors everywhere around and restaurants. Tuk tuks regularly pass by. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the lake and close to the train street.
A laundry service is offered at 2e/kg. We were satisfied with it. The staff is very helpful.
I had reserved the suite which is not at all one by European standards but which conformed to the photos.
We will definitely come back here.
Very good breakfast

If you are looking to stay in the old quarter of Hanoi please do your self a favour and stay here.

We had booked The Lavender after our tour of Vietnam to have a bit of an upper class stay. The main difference between the hotels we had previously stayed at in Hanoi the rooms in the Lavender were silent! Hanoi and especially the old quarter is a city that never sleeps, there is constant scooter noise and horns but this hotel has its noise dampening done right.

The breakfast served in the morning is also excellent with a mix of bread, bacon and noodles.

The room we stayed in was really comfortable with a bed big enough to fit three! (or two people assuming the starfish pose).

My wife used the onsite Spa facilities which are more expensive than on the high street (as the time of writing there was a 20% discount for guests which we did not realise at first) but definitely worth it. We really want to give a big thank you to Andrea at reception. My wife had at first gone to one of the high street parlors for a massage, but the massuses was very unwell making her very distressed. She went back to the hotel and Andrea helped her at 9.45pm arrange a massage at the hotel and calm her down.

Overall the service at The Lavender was outstanding and the staff really were first class. Thank you to all the employees for making our trip to Vietnam wonderful. Highly recommend!

On a trip travelling for 5 weeks around SE Asia this was our first stop. 4 nights in The Lavender Central and it set the bar! From the moment we booked until the moment we left the service was exceptional. The staff here are super friendly and really can't do enough for you. When we arrived we were greeted with welcome tea and some information on reccommendations for places to eat and drink. We tried many of these, and were super impressed. We also had help with laundry, documents being printed, transfers and day trips. Nothing was too much. Big thank you in particular to Hana, Kai and Jerry for their super friendly and attentive service.

The bed was extremely comfortable and big which we welcomed after long days of exploring along side the waterfall shower which was always lovely and hot! We were also given clean towels everyday. We stayed in the Deluxe Double at the back of the hotel on floor 4 which was lovely and quiet. The room itself was also a great size.

Breakfast was perfect for us and included in the price with quick friendly service. There is a selection of tea coffee and juices along with fruits, cereal and breads. There is also a selection of breakfast options on the menu which were great.

The location of the hotel was fantasic and in walking distance to all the major points of interest.

There are so many hotels to choose from in Hanoi old town, we looked at many, however we were absolutely delighted with our choice and cannot reccommend it and it's staff enough. Thank you for a great stay!

This is a very well located hotel in the heart of the old city. The best feature is the courtesy of the staff and in this regard I would mention Duc who welcomed us and supported us in all our needs. I would like to point out the very useful and quick laundry service, delivering in the evening what you want to wash, the next afternoon you will find everything clean in your room at an excellent price. Spacious room and adequate bathroom, all very clean, a relative problem but worth mentioning: in the corridors of the rooms, not being air conditioned, the temperature and humidity in summer are quite high, but all in all they prepare you for what awaits you outside!

After the Disastrous first night in Hanoi , I found The Lavender Central Hotel . What made it stand out was that it advertised Soundproofing in the Rooms . We chose the Junior Suite on the 7th Floor . What a lovely Room . Spotlessly Clean . A large very comfortable bed with spotless sheets and lovely comfortable pillows . Good size TV . Free Wifi , Breakfast was in the Restaurant and was a small Buffet with an Egg station cooking to order . We had no issues with Street noise as it was very quiet after 9pm . All the staff were great, very helpful & Friendly . We were only 200 mts to Beer Street and our Favorite Bar . Really enjoyed our stay .

Lavender Central Hotel in Hanoi is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience and great value in the heart of the Old Quarter. The location is unbeatable, just steps from Hoan Kiem Lake, the Night Market and great restaurants. The rooms are modern, clean and well-equipped with comfortable beds, strong WiFi, AC (including heat for chilly nights), blackout curtains and plenty of hot water. Breakfast offers great options, served by a lovely team. The front desk staff is warm and helpful, especially Jenny, who went above and beyond to assist me both before and during my stay. Having stayed here before and this time visiting solo, I was impressed to find it even better this time. Highly recommended for a hassle-free stay in Hanoi.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the old quarter of Hanoi. We coordinated our pickup from the airport with the hotel - super easy - staff are friendly and efficient - rooms are spacious, well maintained, good linen, very clean and good wi-fi (important for business travelers). We didn't use a car - so can't comment on parking.
Breakfast offered at a reasonable price - though there are plenty of local resaturants - we never ate breakfast at the facility.
on site spa - we never used it - so can't comment
overall, great hotel, great location and friendly staff - I would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.
If possible - recommend booking rooms furthest from the street (-08 room on each floor seems to be the furthest)

We booked a short stay in Hanoi and it was sorted out. It's super central, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very plentiful and the rooms are quite nice.
If you want a quieter room that faces away from the street where, like almost everywhere in Vietnam, people honk their horns, you can simply ask for one at the back of the hotel.

We walked in at 11:30pm at night with no booking after checking out of a previous hotel, and they were extremely accommodating. We stayed in a room with an internal window which was fine and probably better in Hanoi where the roads are beep beep none stop. Room was small but modern and clean. We did not sleep that well as there was banging above at 6am but we reported to reception and then it did stop. Lovely staff , friendly , helpful and very good breakfast . Shower also great.

We did laundry here and some bits did not seem that clean but in fairness we did not check it until after we left so I’m sure they would have redone for us had we asked.

Lovely place to stay.

I don't really "get your drift" but the area is incredibly safe and there are a ton of bars and restaurants around. It's not like anything I have ever seen before it's full of life yet really safe and comfortable. You'll love it, have fun!
