I stayed this hotel for 4days people where exceptional and very helpfull, tailoring to my needs. Specially thanks to peter tuyen and Hung ,Tai ,Ai and of course to all kitchen staff! Stayed here for three days. Rooms were clean and the staff is helping you with everything. Booked a sa pa trekking tour and a halong bay tour, and a incredible street food tour as well. Every pick up an transfer is planed well. Didn't have any Problems.

We staid and in hanoi gate hotel for 3 nights and we recommend it. The staff is really helpful, they've booked for us tickets for a sleeper bus to dong hoi (which was terrible btw) also we went with them to Halong. Everything was as we agreed before, no surprises. If you're considering ha long trip, definitely go with them... More

The staff were so friendly when we arrived and gave us a juice whilst we registered. The room was okay. A small window to outside, and a big one behind a wardrobe that led to a dark internal space which was a little odd. The shower was useless - freezing cold and water went everywhere as the curtain wasn't waterproof... More

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights amd found the experience ok. Rooms are decent sized however its very noisy and we were at the back. Every morning it sounded like someone was on a megaphone praying outside so there wasn't much opportunity to sleep in. Staff were helpful especially when my partner was sick and admitted to... More

Having had read the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor, i was very,very dissppointed with the Hanoi Gate 1 Hotel. Great hotel, amazing location in the old quarter, close to walk everywhere and a lot of people around. The staff is great, friendly people, happy to have you and always trying to help you! We had a very nice stay at Hanoi Gate 1 Hotel. The room was great value for the price. We also booked a tour to Halong Bay at the hotel. The tour was also great and for a good price. We definitely would come again!

Well first of all, the welcoming staff was so nice, they greeted us so kindly and then gave us tips of the city. It is very nice place to spend a night. Very good connected, in the old quater. Base to do trips to Sapa or Halong bay. Very close to markets. Lot of restaurants and bars are very close to hotel. People in hotel are very frienly and helpfull. Recommended !
