Opted for the hotel taxi and was meet on arrival clean and courteous and no hassle Arrival at hotel was great after a long flight and very relaxed and straight forward. Rooms were clean, tidy and light despite having no outside window. There is a window with a skylight so you do get natural light in. The tourist service provided...

This was such a refreshing place to stay after getting ripped off at the City Gate Hotel (please, please don't stay there, even though it's in a bunch of guidebooks). For only $5 more than City Gate we had programmable air conditioning, a true shower (not a shower that's just a hose where the toilet is), a clean bed, large...

I visited Hanoi during Vietnamese New Year, right before flying back home. This hotel was the perfect place to get some rest after a long journey, while still visiting the crowded (and noisy) city of Hanoi. I stayed in a room on the top floor: spacious, clean, quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The team at Rising Dragon far exceeded all my expectations. The rooms were great and very cheap, nice and clean, spacious and very well located in Hanoi. I stayed in Raising Dragon Hotel I for 4 nights and the experience was the best I have ever had in a hotel. Situated in the heart of the Old Hanoi, with plenty of tiny restaurants and shops, it is only some minutes from the Water Puppets Theater, the central lake and the temple and only 30 minutes walking from...

I stayed at the Rising Dragon with a group of University students for one month in December 2010. What separates this place from other budget accommodation is the staff. They will more than go out of their way to help you. They arranged multiple tours for us, both for large groups and small and would always know what direction to...
