On first glance, this is a decent little Hanoi hotel. It was one of the first places that opened it's doors after our long journey from Sapa, so we chose it for this reason. The staff seemed decent enough on arrival. We agreed a room price, left our bags (as check in was after 12) and went for a wander... More

After booking a standard room at 27.2 dollars a night for one night, we arrived and were very impressed. The lobby is bright and clean and the staff could not be keener to help. We arrived a around 11.30pm and were told that our room had been upgraded to a deluxe room free of charge! After waiting for our room... More

We stayed here 3 nights and it does everything it says it does. The rooms were always clean , breakfast good, and the staff really helpful and friendly. The location was great for us being near the old district. We arrived a day early and were put up at a sister hotel close by.

This is the most dirty, filthy hotel/guesthouse we have ever stayed in. We would never ever stay here again. It was torturous to stay for one night! We were dropped off late and this was the only place we could find with a vacancy, we found out why during the night! The toilet spewed up poo all over the bathroom,... More

“The aircon isn't that powerful - seems like it can't quite defuse into the room enough. However, it's enough to keep you cool, just not enough to be cold (i like being able to put a jumper on) The noise is fine, you're a little bit back from the main activity but some traffic sounds do get through, enough to hear in bed but shouldn't be enough to stop sleep! If you're fussy ask for a higher room, we were on floor 4.”

“We had a room at the back which, although windowless, was quiet and we could lay in bed listening to the monks chanting at the nearby temple . Fantastic”
