Nothing really to complain about. Breakfast selection wasn't great but there was enough. Often not enough juice or butter, for example, and slow to restock. On check out, they insist on holding your bags hotage while they check you haven't left anything in your room, which is code for "that you haven't stolen anything". No problem, except they then charged me for cleaning a face towel that I had made dirty by using it. Which they were going to wash anyway. This led to further delays to my departure, refusing to give me my bags while they checked further, which led to them charging me for cleaning a sheet of a stain from some coloured fabric which I know would have come out in the wash, which they would have done anyway. They made me feel like a criminal. I don't mind paying a fair price, but I ended up paying about the same as a replacement price, so ripped off as well. Not a good end to the experience, so I won't stay here on my next visit.…
I can only write about the positives of the hotel because there are no negatives. The hotel is extremely clean, the room was beautiful and spotless. The bathroom had lots of room, the shower was great and it even had a heated toilet seat. I loved that there was no outside window in the room, it kept the room dark in the early morning and I had a great sleep. There is also a wide variety of channels on the flat screen TV. All the staff were very friendly from the door person, to the front desk staff, the restaurant staff, as well as the cleaning staff. A special thank you to Tran Hai Yen. She was very welcoming and always took the time to greet me, ask me how my day was, and to answer any questions I had about where to visit in Ho Chi Minh. The hotel is fortunate to have her on staff. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet which had a great variety. The eggs were cooked to your liking, hot noodle soup, fruit, salad, fried rice, pasta, pork, bread/toast, jam, tea, coffee, and juice. A great way to start the day. The restaurant also had a great view of the city from the eighth floor. There's a nice outdoor swimming pool on the top floor of the hotel. The location is as good as it gets. It's not on a main road with lots of traffic and is a short walk to the Ben Thanh Market, as well as many other attractions. There are also many coffee shops and restaurants in the area. Although I would consider Vietnam as the safest country I have ever visited, there are no security concerns with this hotel. There is a safe in the room for your personal belongings and you can't even use the elevator with out your room key. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Ho Chi Minh and I will return one day.…
The room was so clean. All the staff are so friendly and always welcome ya. Especially Mr hoang who is the doorbell as well as the security. He gave me the most welcome I have ever had. Excellent service Terrific character
We stayed in central lotus hotel for a week in Saigon, and the location was great with a lot of cheap food around us ! The staff was also very kind and polite, especially Hoang who helped us with our luggage and was always kind and helpful toward us during our entire stay in the hotel ! He definitely made our stay more pleasant and enjoyable ! I recommend this hotel to everyone :)
As we travel to Ho Chi Minh city to have our very first days for honeymoon, we booked this hotel. The room was decent, cozy and fragrant. The decoration the staff prepared for us was really romantic, too. Especially the staff named Lan, who gave us a lot of care as well as advice to have better experience in this busy city. We had good times there. Service was nice. Look forward to coming back next time.
The hotel was wonderful. The room was nice, the facilities were clean, and the staff were amazing. Vi especially helped me with several unforseen circumstances was kind, respectful, and accommodating. The rest of the staff were also super friendly, happy, and helpful. The location is wonderful as well, very close to the water and just a short walk from restaurants, bars, and the main street. Highly recommend.
Beautiful hotel, the ambiance is great and romantic luxurious hotel the staff was amazing and spoke english, they open the door and and greeted us every time we came in what is expected from every hotel but l the lotus central went above and beyond. for traveler they have a breakfast with eggs and toast, and for locals the have pho and chow with an excellent selection. there alot of local shop and food place to eat in walking distance and out out of the way from the main busy street of ho chi minh traffic. you can catch a grab or walk to the river side and shop at the famous ben thanh market would defiantly stay here again!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ defiantly worth the price and stay!! great for traveler who want to see Vietnam!!!
Good location, just short walking distance to most of famous attractions. Clean hotel rooms ,great breakfast buffet,I like Quy he doing good job and take good care of us.Definitely will be back when coming to Sai gon
What a fantastic stay we had at Lotus Central. Receptionists Nhan and Quy and the rest of the wonderful staff looked after our every need in very friendly and helpful way. The hotel was really clean with a spacious room and nice bathroom. It's positioned in a nice tree lined quiet street 400mts from the Ben Thanh Market and 600mts to walking street. There are plenty of eating options in the area . The restaurant serves an amazing breakfast with cooked omelettes and eggs of your choice along with an array of cereals, soups, bread's, fruits, juices and plenty more. It is open for lunch and dinner as well. The roof top pool is large enough with good views of the surrounding area.
I go biz-trip to Ho Chi Minh city for 4 weeks and have stayed at Lotus Central hotel. Some of the reviews are as follows: 1. The service price is quite cheap compared to the location and facilities of the hotel. 2. The toilet is fully equipped, very modern, with a hot tub for you to relax when you come home from work. 3. The room is not very big but very clean. The room is always cleaned every day. 4. Breakfast is included with the dishes I ate very well. In the afternoon, the hotel serves a free snack on the roof, has a swimming pool and a very nice view. 5. The hotel staff are very young people, very polite and friendly. I would like to thank Ms Yen sale for supporting me very enthusiastically during this time. 6. I odered dinner on the rooftop of the hotel and i found it quite cheap to enjoy, the dinner with beef, wine and accompaniments, the city view and fresh air was really nice. The waiter named Thuong made a great impression on me. I will definitely come back here next time Note: My advice is to choose a room on the upper floor to have a better city view. On rainy days it will be difficult to order dinner outside through a delivery app so you should take the initiative to eat early or move out for dinner. I think this is also the general situation of downtown area.…
