Room - standard facilities (without iron), bed (comfort and provide you the feelings of 4 star value) Bathroom - bathtub style TV - Vietnam channel, English/Chinese with variety of sport, movies, news and many more. Breakfast - maybe limited if peak holidays as the food may not be enough to replenish since only a person handling the cooking, cleaning and... More

The staff are friendly, although a better understanding of English would have helped. I had some problems with the shower, but they addressed it quickly. The bellmen are superb! Always at your service with a smile.

Very close to the main Ben Thahn market in Saigon. Excellent location, however the rooms of this hotel are old. Relatively clean enough for 1-2 night considering you spend the whole day out exploring. They have good arrangements and partnerships with tour operators which helped us made unannounced. Key element to complete our vacation!

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the location is great. That being said, there are a million other hotels in the same area- you can do better. The room I had only had a small window- more of a porthole really. It overlooked an alley, which at night was full of street vendors and... More

This hotel is very good value at 35usd a night for superior room inc breakfast. It's very well located near Ben thanh market. There is nothing to complain about this hotel except perhaps it's a little noisy with doors slamming in the hallway but it's not a big issue. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.

Stayed here for 4 nights. It was recommended by a local friend. The design of lobby and rooms is quite fun/hip (by Saigon standards). Staff was nice and meant well, but generally inept. I couldn't bother to go find something else, so it obviously wasn't that bad, but I thought it was a bit overpriced for what was on offer.... More

A&EM 179 Ly Tu Trung St A&EM must be the leading local hotel chain in Ho Chi Minh. There is literally one in every corner in District 1 and  I stayed at the 179 Ly Tu Trong branch. The hotel has eclectic interior design, a mixture of Victorian  and modern  glass and stainless  interior accented by dark panels . My  standard... More

The A&EM has various hotels in the area, and there are similar type operations all around - small hotels shoe-horned onto small lots, with acceptable rooms, small lobbies, fine if on a budget. I think I paid around 30 a night, which was what I would expect - A/C worked, so did the wifi, TV, remote, hot water, clean. So... More
