Originally booked the Misu House home stay, got redirected here due to overbooking, so it wasn't what l had chosen. Nonetheless, it's perfectly placed in the centre of town, close to everything. The room was windowless and stank a little of fungus. Some of electric sockets didn't work, the tv reception was awful and the bed could use a blanket,...

I don't understand why this place has got bad reviews. We stayed here three nights (myself and boyfriend) and it was fine. No it isn't the ritz so if you're looking for something posh and luxury this isn't the place for you, however if you're travelling in a pair and want cheap accommodation then this place is ideal. It worked...

For $21 AUD a night this place is a bit of a rip off. You can find much nicer places for the same price. But if it's only one night you'll survive. What I liked: Easy to find, walking distance for the bus station (about 5mins) it's in the backpacker area, so there is a lot of restaurants, cafes and...

i was there with my girlfriend for 2 nights, should have just booked for one night.. well we got the cheapest possible rooms, we still had much nicer stays in VN for half the prize and yes I realise that hcmc accommodations are more expensive for some reason. the room didn't have windows and the bathroom was full of mold....

At first I got upgraded to a room with a view, as I wanted to stay longer I got a room with no window then finally got a dorm bed. Good location for the park and the downtown bars etc. Breakfast was a nice baguette and omelette, but only served 7-9am so not that many people made it!! lol There...

We started our trip through Vietnam here and stayed 2 nights, we didn't have a reference point of the quality of the hotels yet but it wasn't great (we have now been to more places and can definitely say this now - price/quality ratio is not really accurate either in comparison to other places). Very hard bed, super noisy and...

Beware of the travel agency inside the hotel, as they sell consequently fake tickets. Train ticket for my son to Danang for $48,- soft sleeper. But in reality they issue you a hard sleeper ticket. Also my $12,-!! bus ticket to Phnom Penh was fake. They sell you a $12 VIP Luxury bus ticket but in reality you get on...

I stayed here for a couple of nights with my boyfriend. The location was great, close to bars, restaurants, street food stalls, coffee shops etc. The room was a good size for us. However, we were woken up by very loud music coming from reception at 6am. The plug sockets didn't work, i had to plug my phone in behind...

If you book a private room here, it's quite possible you could get a room where it sounds like a large engine is sitting in the corner and where the bed is the hardest I've ever slept on (no exaggeration). I can't speak for the other rooms, but the one I stayed in was awful. I spoke to the man...
