The shortest route to Tan Son Nhat International Airport takes about 30-40 minutes from the hotel by car or taxi. Just 2 minutes' walk from Le Thanh Ton Street (Saigon Japanese Town), 8 minutes' walk from Dong Khoi Street, and also it only takes about 10 minutes to drive to major spots in Ho Chi Minh City, which makes it a convenient location not only for business but also for sightseeing. Guests can refresh themselves in the relaxing atmosphere of the gymnasium and swimming pool.

It is still a brand new hotel, opened in July 2023. It is a very cosy hotel for ordinary Japanese. Of course, there are many cheaper and more expensive hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, but if you are staying in Saigon to sightsee or work with peace of mind, it is probably the hotel that gives you the highest overall score. It is safe to assume that the facilities, such as rooms and elevators, are almost exclusively Japanese, such as washlets, card keys, plus locker boxes for front desk luggage and Japanese-speaking staff, all of which have the high standards of a Japanese business hotel. Of course, the quality of the locally hired staff is also very high, and they seem to be well selected and hired. On the second floor there is a Japanese restaurant, Sakaraku, which is not particularly expensive compared to other Japanese restaurants in the surrounding Japanese towns, but rather offers a high level of quality ingredients and delicious Japanese food. However, the taste of Tokyo is exactly the same as that of Japanese restaurants in North America, which is 100 times better than Japanese restaurants in North America, although the Japanese may feel a little uncomfortable with the staff's image of Japanese food, such as the way it is served. These points will be further improved. The hotel itself is still not well-known, and we're going for a Grab driver or something across the street, which will improve over time. What’s even more noteworthy is the pool and gym on the top 19th floor, which gives you a resort feel while in the big city. Recommended for foreigners who come to Tokyo and like standard hotels.

As expected of a Japanese hotel, it is clean and the facilities are new.
There is also a pool and gym on the rooftop.

This time I stayed in a standard twin room.
The toilet and bathroom are separate, and the bathroom has a fixed shower and hand shower, as well as a bathtub.

The front desk staff were also kind and polite.

It is close to L'Etendant Street, and there is a convenience store just a short walk away.
It is also close to the spa at miumiu2 and the popular pizza restaurant at 4ps, so I made my reservation through Google Maps!

We chose to stay at Sotetsu for 11 nights during our trip to Vietnam. It was our first time staying at this place and we will definitely come back!
Our room (twin single) was clean, modern and had a seperate toilet from the bathroom. The beds and pillows were soft and felt incredibly luxurious. There is ample soundproofing which completely blocked out the noise pollution (rare amongst hotels in HCMC!). The showering area was a combined bathtub and shower. Adjusting the water temperature was painless and the taps and shower heads had great pressure.
The breakfast was delicious and featured lots of Japanese items. Although the breakfast had a smaller selection compared to other hotels that we’ve stayed at, the menu options were constantly rotated throughout the week.
The hotel itself is located near Japan town which has plenty of eateries and bars. The team at Sotetsu has definitely left a lasting impression on us, and we will be back next time we visit HCMC.
Front desk were always incredibly welcoming and eager to help. Housekeeping was incredibly thorough and diligent with daily cleaning.
Special thinks to Phong, Kapi, Larry, Mia, and all the housekeeping staff for their hospitality and being so welcoming.

It feels like a Japanese business hotel in Vietnam. Everything is Japanese quality. The rooms are clean and well-cleaned, and the staff are well-trained and great.

I was surprised by the toilet. It has a TOTO washlet and you can flush toilet paper. You don't have to put toilet paper in the trash. That alone makes it worth staying.

The location is also a 3-minute walk from Le Thanh Ton, on the next street, so I ate Japanese food every day.

The breakfast is also Japanese and delicious. To be honest, Sotetsu Saigon is better than Sheraton or Hilton.

I called Grab to the airport, and a male staff member came out to the street to guide the car. I just waited in the air-conditioned lobby.

Everything was perfect.

The Sotetsu Grand Fresa Saigon offers a great location, attentive service, and comfortable rooms. We’ve stayed here several times for weekend escapes, and the hotel consistently delivers exceptional Japanese service and quality. This truly sets it apart from other chain hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, and I highly recommend it. We will definitely return for future weekend getaways or holidays.

We stayed 5 nights from 8/17 to 8/22.
The staff, Mia, contacted us beforehand in Japanese, so we told her that the typhoon might slow her down, and she was able to come to us with peace of mind (although the plane was on time after all).
I asked for a standard twin room, but there was also a bathtub, and most importantly, it was new and clean, and I felt safe every time I went out and came back to my room, and I was looking forward to coming back to the hotel.
It was nice to have a lot of Japanese food prepared for breakfast, and I was happy with miso soup with wakame and kinshi eggs and white rice with hot spring eggs.
One of the reasons I was able to stay here was that there was a Japanese-speaking staff on duty from 6am to 10pm, so I could ask for a taxi and feel free to ask for small things.
The pool and gym are not big, but they are very new and always clean and enjoyable.
The cleaning staff were always smiling and nice and helpful when I asked them to change towels.
The area around the hotel is also a Japanese town and there are many shops that speak English. I had no problem going out by myself at night.
The hotel is clean and safe and above all, everyone is kind and I am glad I chose this hotel for my stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
I think Japanese people can stay especially safe. Highly Recommended.

Mia and Sum always welcomed us in the lobby,
A female staff member called a taxi to Sui Tien Park,
Mr. Patricia.
Kabi, thank you so much for always making hot pho at the breakfast restaurant!!

This is a great Hotel. It is close to many restaurants, Starbucks, massage & spa pharmacy and mini supermarkets by just walk around for 10-15 minutes. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very clean and fresh. The Hotel is set back from the busy street, this makes it a more relaxing experience after a day out in the city. The beautiful swimming pool& Gym. The lobby hotel is very well maintained and there are chairs to sit, charge your mobile phone on the chair and enjoy the pleasant evenings before heading out to explore the night. This Hotel is great value for money and this is now my Hotel of choice when ever staying in Ho Chi Minh. The receptionists and staff I would like to give special marks to, Kabi, Lucas, Minh, Sum and My.. they were very friendly and helpful.😊 Highly recommend a stay here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff were all friendly and I had a comfortable stay. The cleaning staff greeted me properly in English, which I really liked.
The lockers next to the front desk were installed with the understanding that many Japanese people would be returning home on a night flight, which was very helpful.
It's not in the middle of the Japanese town, so it's not noisy, and it was also helpful that a Vinasun taxi attendant was waiting for us.

It was the best hotel I stayed in recently, whether in Japan or overseas.
Toilet equipped with bidet, good water pressure in the shower, slippers, separate upper and lower pyjamas‼︎
Amenities are set up in the lobby, so you don't have to worry.
It was like staying in a Japanese hotel.

The hospitality is amazing too!
The staff are always smiling and hard at work.
Japanese staff and Japanese speaking staff are also helpful.
Thank you for the best hospitality!!︎
Next, we will stay in Ho Chi Minh City. You have a better hospitality than Japan. Looking forward to seeing you again.
Thanks for your help.

It was a good hotel. The rooms are very clean as they have just been built, and the location is good, allowing you to walk to various sightseeing spots. With brand new facilities, unmanned check-in and check-out equipment, and a comfortable space, you can use it just like you would at a Japanese business hotel.
The rooftop pool is small but has a great view.
The staff were very helpful and My helped us with restaurant and spa reservations. thank you very much. I had a comfortable stay. I want to use it again.
