The Spring Hotel has a very accommodating staff from the front desk to the people who clean the rooms. They are all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is very good with a choice of western foods or a more typical Vietnamese breakfast and it's all very good. We tried both and liked them both. The rooms are very clean...

We stayed here for 3 nights in late January, On entering the lobby you can see how clean it all is. We were greeted at reception warmly and taken to our room which was 103. The rooms are not massive but are clean and roomy, there is 2 free bottles of sealed complimentary water for you, and free Wi FI....

Rooms are a bit outdated (especially the bathroom tub) but spacious and sufficient. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Location of hotel is great for exploration to many attractions in District 1. Free breakfast but I did not take advantage of it so I cannot comment on quality. Overall a decent and comfortable stay in a centrally located place.

On arrival at 3pm we were told our room would be ready in 20 mins but ended up waiting over an hour. Room was dated, there were small bugs on the sink and toilet however room was generaly comfortable with good A/C. Location of hotel was excellent.

We spent 3 nights here before leaving on an an 8-day Mekong River cruise. The hotel is not trendy or fancy, but it is clean and comfortable, and our good-sized room with a balcony overlooking the city, the high walkability score, the delicious chicken noodle soup (pho) and gorgeous tropical fruits for breakfast, and the friendly staff made this the...

If you are looking for something thats value for money for location then this is perfect. Breakfast was better than thought for the price I paid for the hotel. Ok the hotel is in an old building, a little tired but then part of it is its character. I only stayed here for one night as I was in the...

This hotel would be on my stay away list. I was never really comfortable here during our recent stay. The room was not really all that clean. OK but not great. The house slippers they gave us were dirty and there was an exposed wire in the bathroom. The air conditioning system was hard to adjust and the staff was not...

Good central location in District 1 in walking distance of many local attractions. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Good basic rooms. No pool and unfortunately the traffic noise can be heard in the rooms. Overall a good budget option.

We booked the Spring Hotel for the last two days of our 3 week Vietnam holiday in Ocyober 2016 as it was star-rated in the Rough Guide and appeared to have received good reviews elsewhere. Well we don't know who is paying who, but boy, did we make a mistake. While the reception area still matches their website photos, the...
