Stayed here for 4 nights, it was ok. Clean with a good location to the airport with free airport pick ups. Food was OK however staff not as good as others. Asked for a jug of milk for the room and they brought a cup, what a mess that made, they had plenty of jugs on the tables and should...

I stayed here for two nights in late August and was very satisfied with the hotel in general. Location is good, centrally located with loads of taxis always positioned just outside the entrance of the hotel for any place place you need to go not within walking distance. Room was immaculately clean, and the I found my bed to be...

I stayed at the saigon star hotel along with other volunteers at a charity we were working with, purely for convenience! The room was fine, nothing special, but at the least it was clean. Fruit was provided every day, which we were grateful for. One thing though- the stairs were terrible. You didn't get much of a choice as the...

No place for the aged, they would never get up the stairs from the street. Arrived there in the evening. I think it is in the brothel district by the girls I saw. Rooms clean, had a window with a view. Staff pleasant enough. But for the price I would expect tea/coffee in the rooms and a bottle of water...

The Saigon star is worn and very outdated, but is in a good location, opposite Cutlure Park, and clean. I had to look twice at the pictures from reviews written in 2005. The Staff are very friendly and happy to help. Good in-hotel prices for massage, mini bar and roof top restaurant. The Karaoke bar is on the the 1st...

For the price, we found this hotel to be excellent value. We were on the 5th floor and had almost no street noise at night. The Palm Court Restaurant was cheap and had good food. A Friday night buffet for around $US5 a head was outstanding value. We found the response times to queries was excellent. The location had little...

Saigon Star is along a very busy street, but surprisingly well noise is alleviated so that traffic is only faintly heard from the hotel inside. Service level and food is excellent. One major issue that should be addressed quickly is air quality within hotel rooms. There is a definite mold problem in Saigon Star. My girlfriend developed quite nasty skin...
