We had a staycation at their club floor room facing the river. You can literally see “Landmark 81” skyscraper of Ho Chi Minh city! However, they charge extra for this view and we paid extra USD20. It was a good experience. Everything seems standard as you can expect from a 5 star hotel. Room has a decent size, clean, nice room carpet and comfortable bed. Pillows are a bit hard. We were not provided turn down service in the evening. Not a big deal for us but for Marriott standard, it’s a service flaw. There was also no bath salt in the room. I asked for it and got frustrated. I spoke to 3 different staff but no one has an idea what I am requesting. To the point that I have to spell the words for them to understand but still they did not get it. My partner is a Vietnamese so she grab the phone and told them what we need. Finally, they got it! Simple English words especially hotel amenities must be thought to frontliners. The highlight was the club lounge privilege in the evening as well as the buffet breakfast the next day. I would commend their F&B service for being very efficient. You would feel that everyone is speedy and very sensitive to guest needs. There was one Chef at the club lounge, I think his name is Mr. Phong, not really sure. This guy knows how to delight the customers and made us feel welcome and well taken care of. As I have said, overall was ok and good experience. Do we consider to come back? Well honestly, not really. The hotel is not bad but we did not feel the “wow” factor that you will brag about and share in social media with your friends and family.…

They exhibit this Hotel spirit of making sure you have a very pleasant stay at their hotel. Will definitely go back there when have a chance.
Among the best folks in terms of service u can ever find ! Ivy club lounge manager was amazing with her crew and kudos to andy the rooms director for getting such an awesome team in place. Apparently Andy handpicked these special bunch to be here so he certainly has an eye for talent. The team was very sincere in taking care of us and made sure we were very welcome in Saigon. Special mention to tram - she was getting married but worked tirelessly to the last day to ensure all the guests were taken care of before going for her wedding. My review was late as I was down with long covid after my trip and just recently recovered. Qoang the conceirge gave me the experience to remember. I was asking for local food and he gave the locations to me. I went there met with an accident with a motorcycle and came back to the hotel without eating. Little did I know an hour later Qoang bought the local food with his own money and came to my room to offer it to us. Saying he felt sorry I had an accident! He deserves to be associate of the year ! I have many more pleasant experiences but I’m limited to this small form to write so I shall stop here but I will share some of their faces for the world to see! I will definitely be back in this hotel again when I am back in Saigon.…
The team at Le Meridien Saigon is utmost courteous and attentive. Service has been great, friendly and helpful. Thanks to Tram Nguyen, Louise, Van Nguyen, Linh Nguyen, Han Nguyen. It’s been a great stay, and I will definitely be back again.
We were very happy with this hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and the hotel was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the executive lounge on the top floor– which had great choices of food and drinks and great service. We poked our heads into the restaurant hoping to get dinner there but it was totally deserted and cold so decided to order room service instead. I can honestly say this was the best sleep I had in a while. The room was really lovely and the bedding particularly nice. Overall a great choice and easy walking into HCMC district 1 area.
The Le Meridien Saigon is a terrific place to stay. Modern very well maintained hotel and beautiful rooms, warm helpful service from staff, fantastic view from the river view room and great food and service in the executive lounge. In particular I must mention Ms Nhu on the front desk who provided excellent service and was wonderful to deal with.
All staff at Le Meridien are very attentive and professional, When checking in, people at counter were very kind, which made me feel like home after a long Biz trip. Also the facilities in the hotel are perfect, GYM, Swimming pool, view at the lounge…….. The only fly in the ointment is that my itinerary is too rushed, there was no way to spend more time in the hotel to enjoy.
I am a loyal and lifetime Titanium member of the Marriott chain of hotels. I recently stayed at the Meridien Hotel in HCMC. At the time I was not unaware that it was part of the Marriott chain. The price was reasonable and it advertised a fitness center, steam room and pool, So I decided to check it out for 3 days and move on. I landed up staying for 42 Days! The hotel has a comfortable ambiance that makes you feel like your in your living room with family. This had a lot to do with staff workers and I mean all staff at all levels. I've stayed in many hotels but this pearl has it all. Comfort, cleanliness, attention to detail and quality facilities. This hotel has Customer service down to a science! I wanted to acknowledge many of the staff that I enjoyed interacting with during my stay, but the list would be to long. However, I am compelled to mention the following people because they made my stay at the hotel memorable: Reception check in and Concierge: Rachel, Dao, Tuan and Tien. They really went out of their way to accommodate me whenever possible. I Must have misplaced my room key at least 20 times so I got to know them well! Especially Rachel because she always seemed to be around every time I needed help! Concierge Lounge: Tram and Linh. They were on the go all of the time, but they always found time to chat with me, and save me chocolate treats from the kitchen when I showed up too late to enjoy the evening treats. The Latest Recipe for Breakfast on the Main Floor: Ngoc, she made sure to always save me the best blueberries muffins I ever had regardless of when I showed up for Breakfast. Phu, The Assistant Chef. He always ran down the the breakfast menu for me and made good recommendations. He was very engaging. Hy The Manager. full of energy and very attentive to the guests which is important. Actually i can say that all the staff were attentive during breakfast. Gael, Director and Jasper Assistant Director of the food and beverage operations. They lead by example which is key and they allowed the staff to execute. No question, I would have liked working for them! Fitness Center Staff. Tien, I worked out most days. Whenever Tien saw be coming he go to the back to turn on the steam room for me, Or he would tell that it was fired up and ready to go. A good way to start the workout! Oh, I can't forget to mention housekeeping. my room was always well taken care of and they even folded the clothes I left around. They spoiled me for sure I highly recommend The El Meridien Hotel. It is work a close look for many reasons!…
It was my first trip here and surprisingly the service provided by Ms. Tram Nguyen was great, we were late in the executive lounge and she have brief us the timing well and she is really a STAR! wr have a great time at the lounge and we feel great the entire evening with her service......Ms. Tram Nguyen you are a star!!!! Great service and great personality!!!
My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights in June 2022. As a Marriott Platinum member I got upgraded to a river view corner suite. The lounge was still closed due to the pandemic, but the hotel provided similar access at the Latitude Bar. The suite was spacious, clear and comfortable. The breakfast had Western and Asian choices and the service was courteous and efficient. One minor issue was the training of employees in using English. One of the days we asked for change of towels but only large towels were given. Clearly the employee answering the phone didn’t fully understand our request. Also, the menu at the Latitude Bar had wrong spelling “Soft Dinks”. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will return.
