Detailed Reviews
If I needed to get a lot of work done while in the hotel, I wouldn't be happy, as the internet was quite bad. It was slow most days and kept logging me off repeatedly.
The location, however, is great, with many tourist sites (post office, museums), shopping, bars and restaurants walking distance. The toilets are also Japanese style.
Breakfast was decent, though catering to Asian crowd and not much selection for vegetarians. Great coffee.
Suggested improvement- I find the staff were not very warm. Smiles, when they came, seemed quite forced and staff were not very helpful compared to other hotels I stayed at in Vietnam. When checking out, no one asked if I needed a taxi, where I was going, if there was any information I needed. I suppose this is more of a business hotel not a tourist oriented one.
So if you need to get a lot of work done online, I'd look elsewhere, but if you want a clean, conveniently located hotel and don't take offense to lukewarm staff, then this is your place.

The hotel was very good. great location to main sites. Rooms were great. Good internet.
No pool, wish we had one, hot in Saigon. If you want a pool for a few bucks more consider the Roseland Centra (4 Star hotel) or the Paragon Hotel. Both of these are just around the block from the Roseland Centra.

Located in the heart of Saigon, this hotel offers luxury accommodations in a safe environment. There are many local food businesses and restaurants nearby, and all the tourist attractions are just a few minutes walk away. The staff was attentive and the breakfast was fantastic as advertised, well worth the price

The Roseland Corp Hotel and Spa was conveniently located in the Old Quarter of Ho Chi Minh City, close to the Opera House in District 1, and walking distance to numerous restaurants. I stayed in Room 705 for two nights. I requested a non-smoking room because of asthma, but the room smelled overwhelmingly, with nicotine. The sweet chamber maid tried her best to spray the room but the nicotine smell lingered. Besides the nicotine odor, the air condition unit in my room was positioned in such a way that cold air was directed at the headboard. I had to turn the bedding around to avoid the cold air blasting on my head. It was the first time I saw a Japanese toilet in a hotel bathroom. The tub was unusual because there was a gap between the tub and the wall (see photo). Hence, water was sprayed into this gap as I showered.
I loved that the hotel provided Vietnamese coffee and green tea in lieu of Nestle coffee and Lipton tea. The breakfast room was one floor above the lobby and had a variety of Asian dishes, such as pork buns, fried rice, beef pho etc. I was especially impressed that the hotel was willing to pack me an absolutely delicious "take out" breakfast box at 4:30 a.m.!

Hotel has all basic amenities but I was staying on low floor with unfortunately a next building renovation went on and don’t need any alarm to wake me up at 8am in mornings. Had 2 nights of this issue and fed back to receptionist Lona who gladly helped moved me up yo hugest floor at no extra charges despite a bigger room. Room there is much bigger and quieter and had a nice city view! Lona and door man Bray had been very helpful to help me moved up. This hotel is surrounded by lot of good eateries all within walking distance

Only 1 lift serving the whole hotel, at times may be congested or take forever. TV and safe box needs some getting used to to operate. Pillows are a little too soft and thin for me, else the hotel is a very good comfort stay. Big clean room with hot water & good pressure. Special mention to staff "Ha", he is always so cheerful, helpful and full of vitality. When he sees u walking up the stairs, he will not hesitate to walk over from the counter desk to open the door for u and greet u, this is what makes the whole stay exceptional. Very happy stay, would definitely be back to stay again.

+1
Less than one star, old and dirty place. Seems like no one really clean the room, moldy smells and they put many stuffs around stairs which is very dangerous if we need to escape from a fire. No recommended!
I found dead bugs on the floor, hairs in the toilet, tissue paper and dust everywhere you can easily see it.
Good location but if you want to save money there are many hotels around here, please do not come if you want a clean room. They put me in the room with bad smell, cigarettes small I believe.

Rooms were clean , best advice would be get a room with window accessible so natural light would come in , the staff Neil , Lona and Steven were the most helpful and friendliest bunch.
I didn’t had breakfast at the hotel so I could not give any review regarding that . Location wise was excellent , two marts were nearby and beside was Japanese street with numerous restaurants available
Thumbs up and keep up the good work .

Strategic location, good service from front desk & bell hop to housekeeping to F&B. Rooms are clean. Just need better curtains to keep the light out in the early mornings as well as an adjustable shower head.

Definitely less than a 3 star hotel. This is not a hotel for family. The rooms are old. Curtains, sheets, towels all smelled of cigarettes. The staff also did not helped us with our bags when we arrived cos they were just sitting or hanging out in the lobby. They cannot really see arrivals of guests as this hotel is elevated with stairs and it’s very inconvenient if you have an elderly or heavy bags. There is only one lift that takes forever. This lift is also shared by their cleaning staff and we could even smell the trash. The only thing that is good was the selection for breakfast. But it ends and starts very early. 5:30am-9:30am on weekdays. Also we realised that the hotel is situated near a “shady” area. Hence this hotel is more catered to certain people.
