We arrived late At night And there's a person Who just woke up greeted us And put us in a room careless. The Next morning they moved us in a rom At The four Floor without elevator also careless...

Hotel picked us up at the airport. Front desk staff very helpful. Room was very large and had a fantastic view of the city. Price is reasonable for Baku. Breakfast was adequate. Location is in the heart of the old city and most sites and pedestrian areas are within easy walking distance.

I have been reviewing this hotel earlier; altogether, I have stayed there five times during one year - in different seasons. So, it is indeed a good value for money hotel in good location with spectacular views from most rooms, but - if it is slightly uncomfortable in the warm part of the year, it gets really complicated in winter....

If I were going to Baku for vacation, I might be disappointed - but this place is excellent for an experienced business traveller. The hotel in general is pretty basic; it has a few rooms only - but all they are large or even huge (at least for European standards). All rooms are equipped with large desks, and there is...

When the Hotel Altstadt did not honor our reservation ("I'm the reception, it's not my problem") we tried The Horizon and got a large room for $100. The staff was very helpful, and allowed us to use the hotel as a base until we took the night train to Georgia.

The location of the hotel right in the old city is very convenient to see the sights and the park by the see which are the must. The staff were very helpful and they helped me a lot (though e-mails) to arrange my trips to the countryside. Rooms are very big and clean. WiFi is great. Breakfast is basic but...

No direct road access - so taxi will drop approx 30 metres away, and its a short walk up two alleys. Breakfast is in basement and somewhat limited. Rooms are fair size and ensuite, with free wi-fi. No restaurant or bar and reception is just a hatch in the hallway.

As other reviewers have written, if what you need is a good sized room and a basic breakfast, then this is a fine place. The location was fine in the middle of the Old City with all the walking uphill and downhill that follows with it. The rooms 401 and 402 share a big terrace with great views of the...

Hidden down a side street in the medieval city, this hotel is perfect for a base from which to explore Baku. If it's a big, clean room, and breakfast that you need then look no further. And there's always someone on reception to help with any problems or late night arrivals. All in all, it's a good value hotel, in...
