This hotel is old, has a distinctly musty smell and poor services. It is conveniently close to downtown. But there are more modern alternatives. It cannot even be argued that it is competitively priced.
At first glance, it can seem to be an outdated hotel. The price was cheap for 4 members. However, always ask for airport shuttle. Becoz, we had it and it was convenient. Staff have good customer service.
Thin holey linen and blanket on bed, mattress and bed old and rickety, TV small CRT style, bathroom had mould and there were holes in the wall. Food was disgusting and customer service was poor. Pool was OK, but again maintenance was poor.
Hotel is well located close to most of the city sights, the regalia museum, Omar Ali salfuddien mosque and ceremonial boat, kampong Ayer water village and others.
